I will put your theory to the test. I also did EP and my scan date is DEC 7th, I will also figure out if NVC process applications as they claim "In the order that they are received" If we don't get CC by January 3rd I guess both are not true.

Just to be fair you have to count that this last week and this week we had almost 4 days that NVC was not working. SO you might be looking in second week of Jan for your CC if you did EP and you do not get a checklist.

What they mean by petitioners documents

I m applying for my wife but I was married before so should I send my divorce papers?

I am the petitioner and I sent my Divorce papers with my i-130 and not to NVC.

However, I have been told on here that your wife(the beneficiary) should have an original copy of your divorce papers at the interview because sometimes they ask for it.

I can feel myself becoming extra anxious and impatient today, still nothing from NVC. I am confident though, if not tonight it will be tomorrow!(: I think I may be the last 11/20 scan date, so good luck to all of those who are 11/21 and later! You all are next (;

This is how I felt on Monday and received CC that evening. Keeping my fingers crossed that you see a CC tonight.

why is that ? Morgan crofts scan date was 3 days before me, therefore i should receive CC 3 working days after.

But still there has and will be days they are closed.

So workload will transfer them days.

Last they was open Monday ,Tuesday, Wednesday and ½ day Thursday.

Same this week, so with less days, they will not work like that.

And by now you and the rest of us know, that you can´t use logic with how NVC works. :)

So maybe late next week or early the next.

So have ppl that went for "Expedite" had some luck ?

Frankjavir it´s the "Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application (DS-260)", but i dont think they look at that before they look at the case.

But maybe i´m wrong.

Don't think it's something you need to stress about. However, as I mention before DS 260 is the IV form you fill out online, and it is in fact reviewed as everything else you turn in to NVC. The operator asked if I knew whether or not my was reviewed, I said I didn't know. He put me on hold and say it was not, and they usually review the DS260 prior to reviewing your documents that we sent in as evidence. I told him it was completed in October, and he made a supervisor note to have it reviewed.

I'm pretty sure that it's NOT something you need to call or worry about.

Hey everyone. Happy to see some people getting their CCs. I know the wait has been brutal. Our scan date is 17/12/2015 so we are hoping for a case complete in mid January or by some luck, sooner. We did not receive an email with our scan date but after calling the NVC several times, we were told all is well and they have all the necessary documents, just waiting to be reviewed now.
