People who got interview scheduled today at Bombay or Delhi knew via calling Nvc.

Call them .. Ubhave roughly 30 min give or take for today before nvc closes

whhatt?? :wacko: my NVC calling experience has always been bad ...i always get to speak to rude guys... i shall give a shot my tonight , BUT they should mail us or call uss !! :protest:

its so surprising did all of them get information by calling NVC???!!

They will send an email with all the details soon, but that takes a day or two. If u call, u can get to know the details in advance.

I was reading this in sept nvc forum .. I guess this is new update as many of them are talking

However we had to submit passport pic

BTW ppl are getting cc within 15-20 days at nvc.. Read that too in sept nvc thread .. Wow. That's just wow

WOW that's awesome well have to pass on to my peeps the fast CC. You know the record for arrival to CC t NVC is 11 days No expedite just normal. When I was going through back in 2012 it was 20 to 30 days. So looks like the good old days are back.

Yes call in morning all you that got cancelled looks like well 4 so far have called ad they are rescheduled. So call first thing.

Just got off the phone with the NVC, they said today they scheduled my interview for October 15th.

Weirdly, I want to call the embassy and see if they can give me a later date towards the end of October as I'm going to the states next week and am scheduled to come back towards the end of Oct anyway. Hopefully they can help me out with that! Either way, great news and it only took them 2 weeks from CC to schedule the interview.

Hi Amber, what time did you give them a call? I called around 8am their time and I was told that interviews were to be scheduled at the end of this month my cc date was 25th august

Sent to DOS: January 16th 2015

Notice of approval: March 5th 2015

Case complete: august 25th 2015

Interview scheduled: 16th October

Medical booked: 30th September 11:30am

Interview: visa approved 16/10/15

I sent my request to NVC. My case is in transit to HCMC now. How about your case? Is it at the consulate yet?

My case now is READY but I'm really tired of waiting because taking care of my 2 kids is too much for my wife and they keep moving around (we don't have a house). Do we have to send another expedite request to the Embassy or just be waiting?

Although nice rep no way are they done announcing. Let me tell you the NVC speak. They may be done scheduling, that doesn't mean they are done notifying. They were probably done scheduling end of August. Embassies normally send 2 month to 3 months of slots. So they fill up but of course only the upcoming next month is told.

One thing I have learned with NVC, USCIS and embassy you have to speak their language. Although most that answer phone are clueless. I would guess we will be hearing until end of next week October since they just started announcing yesterday. And some embassies still have yet to be announce. Mexico, Jamaica, Kenya so far for sure

Do you think what the NVC rep told me regarding applying for an expedite due to pregnancy will work? Or will it slow things down? I just want to make sure we would keep our current place in the queue if the request was rejected.

I looked on your spreadsheet for "Israel," it seems most people were notified within 1 month of their CC as to when their interview was scheduled, and they got their interview 1 or 1.5 months later. But there aren't many on the sheet, and only a few in 2015 so it's hard to tell. I actually don't see my info up there though I filled out the form (CC Aug 11th, IR 1 category, Jerusalem Consulate). You might further specify in the sheet an option for Jerusalem Consulate & Tel Aviv Embassy as they could be different in terms of wait times.

It just seems unusual for this consulate to have to wait so long to be informed of the interview date, based on what I see on your spreadsheet.

Asking for expedited case on the ground of pregnancy has very bleak chance of expidite approval .... But there is no harm.. So go ahead and try . good luck
