Nope. USCIS app is only for USCIS.

Anything related to NVC or embassy - you have to use this website: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx(in order to get the case number - you need to wait for letter from NVC or just call the NVC)

Hello All!!

Just an update. I got a text a few minutes ago. RFE

Waiting for the RFE details in the mail. All I can do is wait! So it took about 40-ish days. Better later than never. I just hope the requests are reasonable.

On a positive note, at least my case was touched. Someone is working on it. This visa process needs its own patron saint, lol. St. Padre Pio please pray for me to be able to Pray, hope and Not worry!

Received NOA2 on 10/13 and called NVC for the first time tonight. They had already received it, assigned a case number, and it left NVC today. They couldn't tell me when they received it.

Okay, feeling a tiny bit better. From the link I got earlier, it says that the co-sponsor should be familial. Got it. It's my mom.

She must meet 125% of the minimum poverty guidelines for the number of members in the household including myself and my fiance. Check, she definitely does that. It says that we both fill out individual forms for the I-134. Check. We can manage that. There is also another form she can sign called the "sponsor's financial responsibility agreement" or something like that. I downloaded it. Check. We are going to talk about transferring a savings account that is mine, but currently under my mother's name, to my name, so that I can claim it as my own bank funds (which it is). That should put me above the minimum assets/income needed for 125% of the poverty line. I hope that this all comes together. I wasn't concerned before but now I'm so nervous, I just want my fiancee to be here and to think of having to wait over a year and a half, is just scary.

My mom will be co-sponsor for me too but this is a first time that I heard about "sponsor's financial responsibility agreement". Can you give me a link for that?

Thank you and don't worry, everything is going to be ok, I errand less money then you and I still think positive because my mom have good salary I hope that's going to help and I hope they will take in concord that I was in school full time last year, I was only working par-time :/

You need to get your case number from NVC to be able to track your case on this site: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

2 weeks from having received your approval, you can start calling NVC for your case number. Congrats btw

As far as I know, in Manila you schedule your interview online. You need your MNL# to schedule but maybe not to check availability. Go to the embassy website and check it out.

I didn't find anything on their website. But yeah, I guess I just have to wait until I have the MNL# to check on it. We wanted to check on the availability so we can plan ahead and for my fiance to schedule his leave so he can come and pick me up.

Hey guys, we got our RFE letter in the mail today. And just as I was expecting its about Okcupid.com and we need to prove its not an international marriage broker. Good thing I'm prepared so we can send it out right away and hopefully get NOA2 quickly. At the same time it makes me very sad because I've been seeing people here who met on Okcupid getting approved and I hate that this entire process is so random and depending on the adjudicator reviewing your case. We got a idiot to look at ours.

Yeah it's crazy how random it is. But since you were already prepared for that kind of RFE it should be fixed easily. BTW, how long did it take okcupid to answer?

We sent the RFE response last Thursday, now we are waiting again.

Select your region which will be Pacific. Select Philippines. Then you can navigate around. You'll have to create a profile and I'm not sure if you can check appointment availability without your MNL#. My fiance is going to look but she hasn't yet.

They never replied to my first email, but then I send them another email and they replied within 24 hours. We are sending out the RFE reply today. Im really sad that we got RFE'd for Okcupid because I will probably be flying to the US next week and a NOA2 in my hands would make me feel more confident to get entry into the states. Im worried that if they see that I got RFE'd they might deny me entry to the states... Not fair that a lot of people who also met on Okcupid.com got approved. I mean I'm happy for them but its really frustrating for me.
