It always goes to AP after interview (for all countries). It is normal procedure.

If you were approved at the interview - they will print visa in couple of days, and status will change to "Issued"

It's not for the Netherlands, I know several people who have been doing the same process as me (and are in the states now) and who never have been trough AP.

Maybe they just didn't look at the website on the day it said that?

I just checked ours and we are in AP too. yesterday we weren't. And it clearly says "If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days." so i expect to see it change to ISSUED either tomorrow or the next day.

All is well.

I am in a total panic attack right now, they put us in administrative process, which is not usual for the Netherlands. I know it's normal for other countries. But here it never happends. I am so scared it's going to take more weeks.

I agree that you shouldn't worry. AP can mean many things - including the time it takes for the biometrics check and to ready the visa for printing. The poster that said the others you spoke to may have missed it is right. We listed as in AP for about 1 business day (I think), before it changed to issued.

To all those others with recent approvals...CONGRATULATIONS!!!

08/09/2015: I-129F mailed
08/14/2015: NOA1 received by email; hardcopy received approximately 08/17/2015
09/14/2015: NOA2 received
09/30/2015: NVC received case
10/02/2015: CEAC status changed to "In Transit"
10/08/2015: CEAC status changed to "Ready"
10/09/2015: Consulate acknowledged receipt via phone; Hardcopy from US DoS with case number.
10/19/2015: Received information from Consulate.
10/28/2015: Medical Exam
11/17/2015: Interview...rescheduled due to computer problems. New date as yet unknown.
11/18/2015: Called in for interview and APPROVED!

11/24/2015: Picked up visa/passport and sealed packet from the Consulate! <happy dance>

02/14/2016: Arrived in the U.S. (POE was Bermuda)...CO was really nice!

02/18/2016: Married! :)

We got 97 days from NOA1 to Approval.

For us it was 118 days from NOA1 to approval. :)

We were put into Administrative Processing on Nov 25th after the interview until the embassy received the missing tax returns (received Dec 6th). Dec 8th status was change to Approved and again today, Dec 9th, status changed back to Administrative Processing. I'm hoping this means that it will be "Issued" maybe next week... because this time it has a new creation date which is also Dec 9th whereas before it was Sept 25th and only the status update date changed .....

Also, our Non-immigrant visa case was created today (you can get the number from the DS-160 confirmation page).
