My form I-797(NOA2) has the validity date till 1/28/2016. What happens if I am unable to schedule my interview with the consulate before that date? The current wait time at Montreal consulate is 2-3 months after receiving the packet 4!

Hey all, my NOA2 date is 9/14 (though I still haven't gotten the hard copy). NVC received my case last night and I called and got a case number today. Yours should be soon

This is the NVC contact information. I would call the nonimmigrant visa #, correct?

I called non-immigrant solely because I couldn't get a human on the phone with the immigrant #. They were very helpful.

Our case is not yet in NVC, it was approved Aug. 25th and no case number yet up until this day..

First of all, I want to thank everyone on this forum, your words of support, your guidance and your ideas have been a great help, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for everythig.

My case was received by the US Embassy in Albania and they have been quite fast. They received packet 3 from my fiancee and I and they replied today with a link for our interview, the only dates available they left us were the 13th and 15th of October and we set it up for the 15th and we need to get the medical done ASAP, other then that we are set.

I was able to get a case number a little less than 24 hours after they received it. Got my case number on the 5th and it's in transit today.

So… I just got off the phone with NVC and found out that we have been assigned a case number about three hours ago, yaaay! FYI, our NOA2 date is September 17^th. Happy, happy, joy, joy! This REALLY is it!

Yeah, have him call the non-immigrant line, you will get through a live agent faster. The few times I called, I never had to wait over five minutes. (603) 334-0888 option 1.
