I called again and the CSR was really nice. She said they just started scheduling for September.

I hope she is right..

I called the NVC today, they told me they will inform us by an email when the interview slot will be available & scheduled.

Hey Alice yes I heard in another forum also that supposly they had started with F2A category I am CR1 have you called them now to check about interview I am so deseperate to get my date my cc was 13 you think I might get a Sept. Interview?

did anybody get interview date at New Delhi. my cc is june 18 I am still waiting. I called NVC but the rep was so unhelpful. she said she has no idea if they started scheduling for new delhi.

Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help me clarify my problem. The USCIS had requested me for evidence for my i-129F petition that I filed as K-3 visa along with my CR1 visa. Because the i-130 got approved first, I decide to go with CR1 visa and ignore the RFE of the i-129F. Now they send me a letter that warning me that my i-129F will be denied or abandoned. So my question is that would this decision affect my CR1 visa? or it is just a separate case by itself?

dwheels76, please help if you can, I'm freaking out a little bit. My interview is coming up on August 20th, and I only have a scanned copy of my husband's divorce decree from his previous marriage. My divorce decree from my previous marriage is fine - it's original and apostilled, but neither my husband nor his ex-wife have an original of this document, and neither of them are in the country to request an original. Will it be fine if I just take the original of my decree, and the scanned (not certified!) copy of my husband's decree?

Nope. At interview originals or certified copies must be brought since you only gave copies at USCIS or NVC. I would request the divorce papers now.

Does SA request they do it in person or can they request via phone interview or something? Or do they have someone they know in country that can go down there for the ad get it?

I just got off of the phone with NVC. The CSR told me that they already booked all the interview slots for September. So, I will have to wait.

Wth!! Did she just say something to get off of the phone? I didn't see any but one September interview posting here.

Add mi my case was complete july 21 . I dont know if call today or whaut to check ceac s page . Maybe we got something by the end of today. I heard in another forum that they give interviews to F2a for sept and then cr1 are going to get their date.....

Santana Hi.i Do not call because they started receiving a package to give more interviews from the Dominican embassy today. Then maybe tomorrow on we will have news. If I think your interview will be by mid-September because they give a minimum of 4 weeks for your're ready. I think maybe for September 11 or 13 something like will be yours.

We are in the same boat. I understand your desperation perfectly. We can only wait until this is over ....finally

Hey Wow how did you find that Info about they receiving a package to give more interviews what forum? Wow let god hear your words and after tomorow we get our interviews are you CR1 I also heard that same thing that they started with Spouses with residence first. Hey if you hear anything please comment here so I can know.

No it will not effect your I-130. Just ignore it. It will just be considered abandoned.
