06/05/15: Entry to the United States

06/12/15: Married!

07/28/15: I-485 SENT

07/29/15: I-485 RECEIVED

08/03/15: NOA1 HARDCOPY RECEIVED

08/17/15: BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT

10/16/15: INTERVIEW

10/16/15: APPROVED!

10/20/15: GREEN CARD IN HAND

 

REMOVING OF CONDITIONS:

07/18/2017: I-751 SENT

07/20/2017: I-751 RECEIVED

07/22/2017: CHECK CASHED

07/24/2017: NOA 1 RECEIVED DATED 7-20-17

08/21/2017: Called USCIS for an update, have not received biometrics letter

09/05/2017: Received email saying we will be electronically added to scheduling list.

11/03/2017: Called USCIS for an update, spoke with Tier II, still have not received biometrics letter.

02/26/2018: Case status shows case is now at local office. 

05/05/2018: Received NOA that biometrics appointment will not be needed.

Today I got a hard copy mail for biometric appointment. I s this normal as I haven't receive the NOA1 yet which I guess its the most important evidence of my legal stay pending when my green card would be granted.

Pls I am so confused right now. .. what should I do pls guys

You can check your status on the USCIS website, and put in your case numbers, if you want to verify them. I wouldn't panic just yet. Just take the appointment letter with you when you go for the biometrics. USCIS isn't fast by anyone's definitions, so their mail is probably just slow, but your local office seems to be on top of things! :)

Hey everyone, we applied over the phone today for expedited/emergency advance parole. We have a family wedding (S' brother) in the UK on September 3rd and would like to attend. We have an InfoPass appointment also scheduled (for the 11th), but we don't want to wait that long and decided to call in today. We know that we may be denied, but are hopeful. We had our biometrics appointment last week, and were waiting for them to have that info on file before applying. We will know within the next 5 business days if we are approved/need to send proof/denied.

The man on the phone was very helpful, and wished us luck. He also told us that if we are denied, we can attempt to contact border control directly about the situation... not sure if that is true or not, I haven't read anything about it before.

Yeah CathyCNC, remember you got ur notifications a day before mine so I am kinda sure this time around you gonna get that same biometrics letter tomorrow maybe. I was scheduled for August 11th.
