Good news: I got NOA had copies.

Kind of bad news: NOA for I485 says Preference classification "Family Based 2A" and Priority date April 2014. I know it comes from our approved I-130 that I filed when I was LPR. But I am USC now, I've sent a copy of my certificate with the application. I am afraid now that my spouse will get a denial and/or the process will take much longer.

I've tried to call USCIS but of course they won't talk to me, so I am waiting for my husband to come back this afternoon and meanwhile I have doubts that they would change anything by phone. I've called them a month ago to upgrade my I-130 and everything that they have in the system "we know you called".

We got our RFE form over the weekend. It's asking for proof of an approved Visa for my husband. So we're going to send copies of the NOA1 and NOA2 from his K1 visa. Not sure what else they could want.

The form also mentions that they need and 864 signed by the same petitioner as the Visa. Which is me, which I know we sent. He's going to call today for clarification.

Biometrics appointment tomorrow though! :D

Did you send a copy of his K-1 Visa from his passport? Either way I would also send another copy just in case they misplaced it.

Yeah, we sent the copy of the actual visa in his passport, and the online I-94 from the CBP. And, I also got an email on July 6th that the Dept of State sent our K-1 case back to USCIS for review. Sooooo I'm not sure why they need it, but whatever. There's no rhyme or reason behind why they do what they do, lol.

Keep us updated! My package was delivered on Monday morning, so I'm in the same boat now. Try to check the bank account, whether the payment has cleared or nor.

Did you recieve the hard copies yet? I'm not sure how long until you might have to worry but in my case it took exactly 7 days after receiving NOA1s by snail mail.
