For those in Canada wanting earlier appointments...I just called the US Consulate and they said the way it works for Montreal is you can cancel your appointment and then wait for the original appointment date to pass and then call the day after to reschedule something else. So that means there is zero option to get an earlier appointment! So I am just keeping mine as is!

All the people getting visas approved a please tell us when you receive the visa.

Will be interesting. Have yet to hear anyone pick up a Visa since the 9th. All I have been reading is people being told 2 to 3 weeks they should hear from embassy of pick up.

So there is delay between interview approval and when they issue a visa? Does anyone knows what the issue might be?

Thanks!

Seriously where you been the last 2 weeks. The system has been down. No Visa's have been printed since June 9th.

Here's one of the many threads on VJ about it. The Travel.state.gov site has been updating daily. but nothing really.

You are so welcome. Sometimes you never know even when schwduled later than you hope you can request a earlier date and sometimes they can accommodate. You never know unless you ask. So lets just see how it goes.

Thanks Dwheels, I hope so. But do you know if the recent technical issues affect them for scheduling interview date or just issue with visa issuance? looks like the access to online form at NVC also facing technical issues. :( their system has been downed for many times in a year. I don't know what wrong with them. sigh!!! anyway, thanks so much for your support!
