Just a little "fine tuning" after "AT NVC"... "IN TRANSIT" means that NVC has entered your packet into the DHL system. Your status will stay "IN TRANSIT" while your packet is still physically at NVC

They call you and let you know that the results are ready to pick up.

My spouse has her interview (CR1) schedule on June 23rd in Mumbai Consulate, so I gave them call and indeed they said that all the visa interviews, immigrants and non-immigrants are being cancelled for June 22nd through June 26th. I was told to reschedule the interview using the category 3 appointment, https://cgifederal.s...h&country=India on this website. I was able to re-schedule interview on July 8th.

So to any of those out there who have interview schedule during June 22nd through June 26th in India, please give consulate call and confirm if your interview has been cancelled or not. Mostly it is, but please do make sure by calling them.

At this point it looks like they are not going to have any interviews during June 22nd through June 26th in India, because of the technical issues they are facing in printing visas.

I'm so bummed about this system failure. After this dreadful process when you think it's finally over a system failure happens!!!

I was supposed to collect my passport today from the embassy and now they can't even tell me when they are able to give it. I have already bought my ticket for next week too coz I was gonna surprise my husband for his birthday!

I know it's no ones fault but I'm SO FRUSTRATED that this is happening!

I am the beneficiary- Spouse (Sri Lankan citizen) to a US citizen

08-26-2014 Form I-130 submitted

08-28-2014 Received NOA1 for I-130

10-01-2014 Form I-129F (K3 visa) submitted

10-14-2014 Received NOA1 for I-129F

01-30-2015 Received NOA 2 for I-130 (5 months and 3 days after) :D

01-30-2015 Received NOA 2 for I-129F (3 months and 2 weeks after)

02-11-2015 Received USCIS update (email notification) that case was dispatched to NVC

03-03-2015 Received NVC welcome letter via email with the case no and IIN (31 days from NOA2 date)

We have cc April 30 and still waiting. New Delhi is like a blackhole.

I feel your pain, we are awaiting an interview date in Jordan, a very busy Embassy that became a hub due to the conflict in the region for Iraq, Sirya, Libya, and Yamen.

My husband had his interview today at Nairobi, Kenya. It was approved thank God. He had a few questions asked;

when did you meet and how? where does she work? do you have kids together? when did you see her last? Asked for a few pictures then the best news, thank you and welcome to the united states..... He was told he will get an email of when to pick up the visa, in 2-3 weeks. The system breakdown is real.

At this point I also want to than every member of the VJ community who awaits a happy end to their journey. I was able to complete all the required documentation with help and advice from this site. I couldn't have done it without those past and present members. And for the individuals who have sacrificed to set up the wikis, God bless you. Thank you for keeping it going. The stress is unimaginable. I wish you all the very best, your day is surely coming.

I will come back when the visa is eventually issued, for now it still shows 'ready ' and I expect it to remain so until the system is fixed.

@dwheels and all my fellow vj-ers - thank you for the support in the process so far its been a great peace of mind to be able to support each other and also just pouring out frustrations! this is an invaluable resource which is great!!! thanks again all..now the show aint over till the fat lady sings so lets hoping the technical glitches sort themselves out within a few weeks!!! time to move on in my life.
