Event Description

Embassy Review : My wife's interview was at 7:30 am we arrived at 7 and it was already packed. The security guy comes and orders two lines one for 7:30 am and another for the 8am interviews. Once inside they collected our documents and asked fee basic questions like when she got married and who is calling her. As for the interview itself, it was quick and painless a friendly CO greeted her and asked few basic questions like; What is your husband doing in U.S, who he stays with, what his parents do for a living. All while nodding and typing away on a computer. She had soo many photos and call logs and travel itenararies as proof, none of which they asked to see. It almost seemed like the decision was made prior to the interview even starting. After interview the CO told her she was approved and her visa will be ready in a week. But we got an email the very next day at evening saying the visa was ready for pickup. So we received the visa just 2 days after interview. Overall good experience. Only complaint was the overall interview took about 3 hours, there is a lot of waiting involved.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
