I hope that once we get to wake up next to each other for long enough, without the pain of knowing a goodbye is coming, that the memories will start to fade.

I wish they were more accommodating. Once a week isn't very often for the amount of K1 visa's been processed. And thank you. I'm hoping that will happen as well. I plan on checking every hour until I get one sooner, or until I have distracted myself enough and the original date shows up. :)

Sorry to hear about the long wait for your visa interview! I actually asked the Stockholm embassy this exact question, because our consulate only process 4 (!!!) K-1 visa applicants per week which in my opinion is nothing. They said that K-1 visas are actually a minority and they see far more tourist/student/au pair visas and need more resources to accommodate the large amount of visa applicants

Ahh! I had to call CBP myself and they helped. We had the wrong number. So we DO have an i94. We already sent in our AOS, too. Great! Now to yell at these people... Lol. Thanks guys! I appreciate it

Right? It's ridiculous haha. Thanks so much! I really hope you get through NVC super quick and a visa appt. cancellation comes your way. To think that in a mere few weeks we'll get to be with our loved ones really helps a lot :)

I don't think that there's a lot of k-1 applicants in Sweden, Denmark or Norway.

All three countries have to go to the embassy in Stockholm..

I'm glad there aren't that many. Because 3 countries all having to use one embassy could be horrible.

YAY!!! That's awesome!! So there are interviews available through July?! I've been waiting to send Packet 3 until I heard about how your experience was - I am so excited for you! AH! :dancing:

04/15/2016 - Received email "On March 16, 2016 your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence was approved.We have reviewed our electronic records and found that your Permanent Resident Card (PRC) is already in production." (NO INTERVIEW)

05/05/2016 - Another online service request asking status of PRC

05/18/2016 - Received email saying file was in Sacramento, not Pittsburgh, and it was not approved yet. WHAT?!?!

05/20/2016 - Status changed online to "On May 16, 2016, we ordered your new card"

05/23/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/23/2016, we mailed your new card" (text & email)

05/24/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/24/2016, USPS picked up your new card" w/ tracking info (text & email)

05/26/2016 - Received card in mail

Finally got his interview scheduled for August 12!!! We had to wait though July because he's going to be here most of the month! :dancing:

It was received at NVC today! Just no case number yet! I was given the date of 4 weeks from today. But we all know I will be calling back tomorrow, lol. So no need to fear, Camillasofie! It arrived in the correct place!

Sorry about the tourist visa denials Allie. I don't have any words to cheer you up because that just plain sucks. I remember that Santy has a Spanish passport through his dad I guess? Does his brother not also have one?

Sooooo happy to hear the visa was issued and Santy will be heading your way really soon, I know! Really cool to have the first of our bunch approved and issued.

Camillasofie, I GOT MY CASE NUMBER AND INVOICE NUMBER!! Call them again! Lol.

Hmm, when I throw my case number into the CEAC website, it says "Your search did not return any data". Is that normal? Did I get the case number wrong? It's VAC and then 10 numbers? Did I miss one?!

Hmm, when I throw my case number into the CEAC website, it says "Your search did not return any data". Is that normal? Did I get the case number wrong? It's VAC and then 10 numbers? Did I miss one?!

It may not have updated yet, ours didn't update till it was already at the embassy.
