Following up for El Salvador VJers - I finally had to have my husband's ex call and make an appointment for the medical exam for me because I had called El Salvador about 50 times and still had not talked to an actual person (always busy or went to voicemail for EVERY SINGLE NUMBER from the 4 options for doctor). She got through but the earliest appointment they had was May 26th. So we took it and I rescheduled the interview. When I did the reschedule, he offered both June 8th and June 15th but strongly suggested I take June 15th and some of the doctors do not have their documents ready 1 week in advance of the interview. I took his advice. I was initially crazy frustrated (and took back all of the nasty things I said about NVC to direct to the consulate) but... now we have appointments that can actually be kept so might as well be happy

SO: For the spreadsheet:

NEW Appointment Date: 6/15/15 (rescheduled from 5/20/15) - do you want me to submit this differently DWheels?

Nope I got you updated. Sorry getting to this so late. Sorry you had to change your date.

Himanshu,

Your case was expedited meaning NVC is NOT scheduling your interview rather your Embassy/consulate abroad. Now your case is on Transit, you will have to track it and once you see it has reached embassy you call them to schedule your interview. Yours is different from us who don't have expedite premium and we had to wait NVC to communicate with embassy in order for NVC to schedule us for the interview.i hope I cleared your question.

Thank you so much for your reply. Yeah its lot clearer now. So once the docs reaches my embassy I will call them to schedule my interview. Hope they understand the gravity of expedition and grant me an early interview date.

Is there any way to track your package?

Thanks once again!

Our interview has been scheduled on June 16th!!! CC was on April 27

Have a couple of questions that are confusing me, hopefully somebody can clear the air.

1. With regards to the AOS, i understand that originals are required at the interview. However, in our case we have a joint sponsor, does that mean that they need to mail me the original signed copy to bring to the interview rather than the scanned version that was previously emailed to me to submit to the NVC electronically?

2. As far as the 2014 tax transcripts, I filed for an extension so im assuming that printed confirmation would suffice or should i rush to finish my taxes and hope a transcript is available before our interview date?

So far those are the major questions that have been racking my brain, we're so close to the finish line and i don't want to mess anything up. Agh, am i over thinking things?

Am i overthinking this, agh so frustrating how everything can

Congratulations you are updated.

1. Not sure about your embassy. if you submitted tax transcripts that's all that's needed.

2. the extension letter from IRS you got when you file is all that's needed.

Take a look in the Canada forum I know there is an excellent thread about the embassy for ya'll. I will see if I can find someone posted I believe.

That's right, you need to call them ASAP and they should schedule you with the earliest opening they have. I hope you have taken care of the medical examination at this point. At the introduction of this topic you will see a thread "How to track your case from NVC to Embassy" through DHL. Most people have been successful but I tried and couldn't but there are instructions. In any case its only three to four days for DHL to reach most parts of the world. Good luck!

USA embassy in Lagos, Nigeria.............so slow......very very slow.

Most case completed in April are still waiting for IL.

Read, somewhere that the last NVC CC scheduled for Nigeria are those with CC on or before April 9th. So, very likely, by the next round of scheduling (based on increase CC witness in April) some April CC date will/might have their interview date in August (no more available interview slot for June since last month and hence, we all need to wait for the small number of slots that they have available in July / August). That is 90 - 120 day or more from CC to actual interview.

Issue is not with the NVC. The embassy doesn't provide many interview slot for IR1/CR1/F2A.

Just so frustrating :content::rolleyes::content::content::content::content::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::(:(:(:(

Hi everybody my wife got accepted (case complete) april 8th. She is in Mexico. It has been over a month now and we have not heard any news or received any notices or messages on our interview date. It also does not say "ready" on the CEAC website . My question is, how long does it take for the interview date to be scheduled after being accepted at the nvc? Since she is in Mexico, the embassy probably has a lot of petitioners and maybe thats why it is taking a long time. But on this thread, i am seeing people receiving their interview date after a couple of weeks after "case complete". Does anyone know why it has been over a month and no interview date yet? Please respond !!!!

Hey friends,

My PD is 09-Sep'13 n CC date is 10-Jan'14. I've not received IL from Nvc n m quiet worried.

Please suggest what to do? I tried calling Nvc yesterday bt dint connect to operator.

Don't know if you got an answer but when you asked this your PD was not current yet. But now June Bulletin is out and your PD is now current. So you might get a July date or maybe a June date still. I will add you to spreadsheet.

dwheels76, Dear, I am in your hands! Do you remember wishing me best of luck and speedy process some time around November/December when I first posted here, being all sad and confused as to why our I-130 was transferred to California Service? Your words came true! So keep me tight now and lead me all the way to the interview now :luv:

I am short of breath. 3 N/A's just now :dancing:

My scan date 3/30

Check list 4/23

New scan date 4/27

CC 5/13

P.S. our country is little and the Embassy is not crowded (I hope), so I think my interview in June/July would be realistic?
