I just googled my state senators, went to their official website, and there is should always be a release of privacy form. This gives them permission to inquire on your behalf. Mine was under "constituent services". The instructions were on the form that I was to fax it to them, I called about 30 minutes later to confirm they received it. Nothing like NVC style.....2 rings and then spoke with a pleasant woman who typed out the e-mail to NVC while I was on the phone with her, making sure she got all the details on our case correct.

Thanks! I sent an email to my contact at my state reps office. He was a great help when we were at USCIS! Waiting for a reply from him but it sounds like you got a pretty solid answer. I hope that they are able to catch up soon!

Congressman had emailed me approx 30 minutes after I emailed him. "we will get back to you shortly with any info. thank you for contacting us."

Could have that made the difference that fast? If so, thank you for telling us to do it! If not well thank you anyways my mind can pretend it is! Haha

I am so thrilled and proud of you and all of you for taking the bull by the horns and well maybe shaking a tree or two. This is how things get done. Congratulations again.

Your upgrade doesn't change your case complete date. Remember also Jamaica is also way behind. December people just got interviews scheduled last month so its a wait regardless of your CC for Jamaica.

Sure will! Definitely is NOT immediately like NVC says. I have not, nor has my husband received the email yet. So no one believe NVC when they say "you will be notified immediately when an interview is scheduled."

Thank you all so much. Praying ALL of yours moves fast!

Dwheels,

I just want to place my views on this subject. I respect your experience and knowledge. I have studied the spreadsheet. I also have friend going through this process. If may say yes there are December CC that are just getting interviews ... But there are also CC from January and February that are getting interviews as well at the JA Embassy. This is also reflected on your spreadsheet. In my opinion the Jamaican embassy is not that far behind. There moving slow but not that slow. I think that there is room for flexibility in ref to the question asked. Yet still there is never a guarantee with these situations. I truly respect your opinion.
