This is amusing to me in a slapstick comedy way. Due to the unknowns of being approved, no one can plan for a wedding. So I haven't. Instead, we've planned for him to just bank extra money while we wait since he didn't renew his lease and is staying with family. So we can't plan a wedding, and if we are moved up sooner we don't save money. LOL

LOL! Oh, Tabeak, you are driving yourself nuts, just like I am on this news! I really hope TSC transferred ALL those 2014 cases to CSC!

Just remember that fiance visa's aren't the only kind being transferred. Since you are the end of Dec 2014, you have two potential advantages - you will either be included in the transfers or you will rise to the top of the list after the transfers!!!!! I decided that I need to give myself two weeks without looking at my case status. No news on this matter is difficult, but to me, you have such a high chance of getting worked if USCIS manages this transfer well!

Hardly seems worth the time and effort. You'll get the same vague answer some of have called and heard already. No one will truly know what's going on until official petition update notifications go out.

Lets put all of this in perspective. The announcement states they recently began shifting I-130 from VSC to CSC. Then it lists (Balance of workload) movement in I-129F, I-140, I-485 I-821D, and I-765 applications.

Do you know how many applications this involves? Take a look at the latest quarterly report published by the USCIS website under Forms Report for activity in (Q1 2015 Gov't year) Oct 2014 through Dec 2014. I have tried to make a summary below (adding all the I-485 forms together). I also added a column of Backlog to Rate ratio which is just dividing the apparent processing rate for this last quarter by the Pending Backlog. This gives an idea of the length of processing time which for I-129F's is 1.35 quarters or about 4 months.

What is glaring to me is that a) I-129f pales in comparison to other applications, b) That all of us eventually have to file I-485's and wow look at that backlog and c) Politics plays a role since I-821D are the infamous DACA applications and they are definitely getting priority.

Mind you that the data above combines both CSC and TSC for 129F processing so we are all hoping for the balance to take place in that department and not to balance say I-485's in lieu of I-129's in either place.

Interesting data and will be interesting in May when the March-Jan 2015 data will be published.

This is true, I'm starting to think there won't be a transfer of the backlog for I-129F just new applications being routed. It's unfair, but we all knew that!

The announcement stated that only I-485 from employment/asylum cases are transferred. That is a smaller number, I am assuming.

But yeah, we keep waiting...nothing new...

Looks like TSC has slowed down a little from the data that is available on VJ. If they are only transferring new applications then we should see NOA 2 expedites go to zero.

I agree my tracking is also saying TSC is slowing down. I saw them slow down last year on VJ data when they transferred from TSC to CSC in April and May. I think we need to track their rates the next few weeks. Tells us if they shifted in TX from I-129F to other forms.

No, I just assume anything below 100 days is an expedite which at the moment has been reliable (...unfortunately).

I can't believe I am wishing back those weeks in Jan and Feb where TSC was at least consistently processing, lol.

March has been a complete disaster - data on VJ almost ground to a halt and processing is haphazard at best...
