Yep! Opened the letter a few moments ago. I'm a bit confused to be honest.

So, based on Dan's tax information, he doesn't earn enough. However, in January he started a new job which exceeds the income requirements and we included an employer letter and paystubs. The RFE is requesting W2s and tax info that supports his income which obviously he doesn't have for this job yet. So I'm feeling a bit stumped.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to look for a joint sponsor if last year's tax did not make it above 125%. Later from employer and pay stubs helps show proof of current/continuous employment, but you first have to proof you were above the poverty level in 2014.

Hmmmm.....not sure about that? Maybe they just want info since it is a new job? Try posting in the AOS forum...maybe someone will know something there?

Pheebs, i just looked at your thread and it looks like your RFE is almost exactly like ours. The first box say to submit the complete tax return for the last tax year, and the second that he doesn't meet the poverty guideline blah blah and to either show assets that make up for the difference (they don't mention how much is this "difference") or get a joint sponsor. I thought they need the complete return for 2014, cuz we send the one for 2013, but i was still confused how come he doesn't meet the 125% since he works 2 jobs. And we sent all supporting documents too.

But we definitely said our household size was 2 people so I don't understand why they'd think it was 3?

You mentioned that you sent the 2013 tax papers as the most recent. Did your husband meet the 125% of the poverty guideline in tax year 2013? How about tax year 2014?

If he is above the 125% of the guideline in tax year 2014 AND currently, then there is no need for a co-sponsor, you only need to send them the copy of the 2014 tax papers (or IRS Tax Return Transcript 2014).

Had my biometrics today in and out within ten minutes,although the lady at the front desk was rather rude,told me I'd have to sit and wait for awhile before filling out my form as I'd arrived early but then called me back up the second I sat down
