Hey guys,

Since a few people who have a later NOA1 date than mine received their biometrics appointment and I didn't, I was wondering: did your USCIS online statut change when the appointment letter had been sent?

I am starting to freak out.... :(

Do not be worried. You will be receiving your biometrics notice soon. I filed my application earlier than most of people here, but I have not received the bio notice too. It just depends on how backed up your local ASC is. As soon as they get an appointment date, they will send you the notice. Just relax.

It might be a good idea to call them, you sent your papers the same day I sent mine, I got the biometrics letter early this week, try not to hesitate and call them next week

Finally received confirmation by text/email that our package was accepted. So happy, I know this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of getting my EAD, AP and Green card but at least I can breathe now knowing it made there. Whew. I will NEVER again not get a tracking number.

I just got back from my biometric appointment. The appointment was scheduled for 1pm, but my husband and I arrived at noon. They let us in and we went through security. First I had to fill out a form (name, A#, NOA1 receipt numbers, phone number, height, weight, eye color, hair color, etc.). Then I had my fingerprints and a photo taken, I had to sign my name and that was it. Everybody was very nice and helpful. We were out in 10 minutes.

I brought my passport, my appointment letter, my NOA1 hardcopies, and a certified copy of the marriage certificate (as the proof of name change, since my passport has my maiden name in it). I had everything in a folder, I was happy that I went there organized. Overall, great experience! :)
