I did and its closed...until 33o pm....#######!!!! I want my case number!!!! My guess is those is they are short staffed until 3:30.

yes they are closed and they are getting worser and worser at informing the public they are closed. First time I call them when they was closed due to weather it was stated in message on phone and on website. 2nd time I call them when they was closed it was stated in message on phone , but it was not posted on their website until 3 or 4 hours later. This time no message on phone they are closed, just the usually recording and music you get and it is posted late again on their website except this time it is posted at the bottom of contact page instead of the top where it is usually, The NVC is a joke

Getting a checklist that late is the worst! I got one on day 54! I was devastated?

Even now I feel bad, I could have been on my way to the interview by now.

60 days since Scan Date and new news yet. NVC closed today. That Jack Frost has been very troublesome these last few weeks.

Happy to report that I had my IR1 interview today and was approved I say interview, it wasn't really, just asked what I do and what my husband does and handed back my civil docs. I was told during our conversation "well, you're approved again, so you're now an LPR again... get citizenship this time". I almost missed the "you're approved part" and almost asked her to repeat it just for it to feel real. Haha. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and everyone was super friendly.

My 5 year old was hiding between my legs during the interview and because she couldn't hear what was being said she was worried it was denied and almost started to cry -- I told her they said yes and she called her dad straight away and then proceeded to run around in circles.

still waiting for a supervisor review of our case since 1/23/15. They said it could take up to 42 days, but now could be longer because they were closed 3 days due to snow storms. then today i read that they're closed again due to inclement weather.

I sincerely hope they're all ok and survive the storms. For the sake of humanity and also for the sake of all of us who are waiting... God help us.

Well, there goes my March interview? ok...May! Interview in May.......I hope!

Has this happened in recent history? I imagine last winter was bad (maybe worse than this year ). Did the NVC have a lot of "snow"days?

What is wrong with NVC today. I been on Hold for almost an hour an half .Some other members posted that they have been on hold too for over an hour.

Did someone call in sick for the NVC?

They really need to do something about the NVC. Ridicules they have one center handling all the visas. when they have 2 to handle K-1 petition and 5 to handle other petitions. Who thought of this backward set up. of course the NVC will not be able to keep up.

So sorry the weather is making a mess of everything and I for one don't understand why they don't bring NVC to California since it's winter and it was in the 70's today and we only have snow on the mountains, we don't have hurricanes or tornadoes so this would be the best place for it to be. God willing the weather will get better soon.

Thank youuuuu!! I was so nervous it would be denied. My after-the-stress panic set in this morning on the school run when it hit me that this is my daughter's last week at her UK school (they are off school next week and we plan to travel the week after) -- I couldn't breathe. It's crazy how the mind works.

I will be checking into the forum until you and DutchmansLady are also done with this nightmare.

Now my stress is hoping flight prices don't go up too much while waiting for the visa to get here. I'm wondering whether to just take a gamble and book for the 25th, giving the Embassy a little over 2 weeks to get it to me. Hmmm.

Why not can't hurt, I say send them all you have all they can do is ignore it and move on. Anyone else agree? And don't be sad one or two days extra really make no difference at all. Will be praying all goes smoothly for you and you get a quick CC.
