OMG!! What a coincident. I made 51 calls in 41 minutes.

WOW to funny! I kept hitting the call, call, call, call....hahahah I didn't get to talk to anyone because after being on hold for 35 min. I got cut off. Just part of the process I have come to realize. Tomorrow is another day

I just got through to NVC and was told that my case was received yesterday, but hasn't yet been assigned a case number. The woman I spoke to said, "Now you just have to give us 42 days to enter it into the computer." HUH?!?

Just one Question... did you get your case updated in the USCIS website saying that it was sent to the NVC? it is just kinda confusing to me, because mine still says that was approved and they will send me the hard copy (that i already got), so not sure if i supposed to wait for the USCIS update saying that it was sent or it never change really?

Yes, I got a text and email from USCIS (and I checked my status on the website to confirm) stating that my case was sent to the dept of state for processing. I received those notifications on February 3.

I have not got the updated notice from USCIS that my case was sent to NVC. I just called them today to see if they had received it and no they have not. So I guess we wait until USCIS sends it and gives the update.

Call back in a few days - sometimes it is as early as the next day but I don't see anyone taking 42 days to get a number after the case is received!

Yes, I got a text and email from USCIS (and I checked my status on the website to confirm) stating that my case was sent to the dept of state for processing. I received those notifications on February 3.

It's been running about 8 days from the date of the USCIS shipped to NVC date to get in NVC's system.

I have not got the updated notice from USCIS that my case was sent to NVC. I just called them today to see if they had received it and no they have not. So I guess we wait until USCIS sends it and gives the update.

It can of course happen sooner or later but it's been about 8 days from USCIS's shipped to NVC date to get into their system.

It's been 8 days since our approval but our case hasn't been sent yet. I have no updates on USCIS website. I know it will come any day. I just have to be patient. I just thought they would have sent it to NVC already. USCIS is so unpredictable (haha).
