It is possible. Be careful you don't just seal the record or expunge the case. In the US a governor's or presidential pardon is effective for immigration purposes for everything but a trafficking charge. Not sure what view they take on Canadian pardons. Check with your lawyer.

generally in the states it is easier to vacate a convction than to have it pardoned but you would need a criminal lawyer in Canada to work in concert with your immigration lawyer to make sure it is done correctly.

Simple assault may not be excludable, however more

than 2 offences, and B/E add the time U could have been

sentenced to is how its looked at . The embassy will tell

U if U are allowed to file a waiver. Then U get a waiver atty

Everyone that has a legit marriage or family relation is

verified gets I 130 approved , but that does not determine the

case, start getting all your dispositions ready & be honest

about all arrests, Canada & USA shares crime data

I hope the assault was not of the "domestic" type and involved a woman, if so you have zero chance.

The B & E if it was one, might get by, but two, I would really have a very good immigration attorney.

If you have made "good" the wrongs, then maybe you deserve a chance. Only time will tell.

Even if the crimes are pardoned in Canada, you must still answer YES to the questions of whether you have been arrested or not - because that still is true, even with a pardon.

What specifically are the crimes? How long ago? Does your wife know about the crimes?

Your rehabilitation is only marginally relevant. It might sway the officer a bit, but the legal issue is hardship on the petitioning party. But you have a lawyer. In a case like this you should rely on him. None ofus have all the facts. He presumably does, and if you trust him (and have already paid him) he is the best source for this info.

Oh ya my lawyer has all documents from the court house all my charges went through paid him half... hardship?? Like my wife has kids from previous marriage and he has legal visitations with them
