That depends on how busy the embassy is. I believe NVC will start scheduling a second round of interviews next week for january (i read another user said this) but how fast you get a date and how far out all depends on the embassy/consulate you are set to interview at.

I'm assuming the Stockholm embassy is not super busy. Everything shuts down during holidays though.

I pray January is my month.

I had a thought, when I was told I had CC so long ago I felt numb, not grateful, not a shred of happiness in my soul. I think God did this to make me understand I should be grateful for every little bit he brings my way. I'm ashamed I wasn't happy and grateful for the gift that was given me. So God made it go poof! I'm not a fanatic but as they say in my country of birth, not even the leaf of a tree moves without the will of God. And on that note. Woooooo Hoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't hoard all the blame my friend. NVC has a lot to answer for in connection to your case.

my finger was on "refresh" all day yesterday on the CEAC website lol . . . Yes, i already checked it twice today LOL . . . I don't know if i want to call. I'm at work today and their hold time is sometimes ridiculous. *Sigh* I just want the PAID to turn to N/A so i can be happy Only problem is that that is not always reliable.

You know, i used to think that they reviewed cases by their scan date regardless of whether it was a checklist or new package but i've noticed that most CCs have been for checklists (which makes sense). I hope they start working on new packages shortly though so we can move onto the third stage of our process

I also believe that CCs from checklists come quicker...but HEY NVC IM A CHECKLIST, REVIEW ME, hanahaha

I'm not willing to call either....probably if it doesn't change at ceac website by Monday night, I will call

Yes it was changed yest morn when we woke. So a day after I called. Did u call them today?

No sweetheart u have gotten two checklists uptil now. One checklist was corrected 3 days later by ur second set of forms. Then about the second chscklist they lied to u and u came to know about it when u were expecting ur case complete. So u sent the third set of forms now. And I m totally sure u will have to cc in a couple days iA keep checking the ceac site for that n/a now

What a relief, don't know why I still believe them, I was told this by a supervisor so I thought I could trust what they told me phewwwwwwwww ok thank you my precious angel!!!! Just called NVC and spoke to Kendal poor girl need to go to bed. Nothing new no change but she gave me a scan date of Oct 21 St hahahaha no matter just one day difference. We have to give them credit for consistently being inconsistent. So no news I just pray I don't miss out on an interview date.

This is my take on current annual income. If you have filed 2013 taxes and earns at least 150% of poverty line for your household (125% needed for US Visa) then just list 2013 total tax income for current annual income. For the interview just update I-864 with 2014 tax income as current income. I did this for half a dozen people already and no checklist from NVC..

I'm ashamed to say it but i had a nervous breakdown when I received the Checklist, I just couldn't take it. I'm better now but still get nauseous when I'm waiting with NVC.

Thank you so much to all who sent good energy and prayers. My husband got a notification this morning from the courier that the visa had arrived... even though no one knew anything about it yesterday. I talked to him on the phone and he had already picked up the package. What a relief... today is my birthday, this is an excellent present, and I am very grateful. Now we can finally buy tickets!

Best of luck to those who are waiting anxiously... it looks like nvc is if anything dragging more than when my case was there. You have my full sympathy and moral support.

Hello my friend I think one CC today so far and one out of prison card with the found Visa for Dawning. I would say all in all a good day, hope tomorrow brings a flood of CC's for everyone. We need to all say a prayer for this, it's much needed for everyone.

I hope and pray they give us all a CC soon so we can take advantage of the second round of scheduled interviews, it would make a huge difference.

Oct 24 is the one the reps said in the beginning, but they're saying Oct 23 now. The 60 day email also says Oct 23, so who knows.

No reason to be ashamed Soloenta...we are only human and our emotions and minds can only take so much. I feel like I am on the edge at times myself...there is sooooooooooo much at stake . I know all about nervous breakdowns as my son had one a few years ago from stress .

It is easy for someone to say...just relax and it will all be ok...but we don't know that until it is all ok. I need proof haha and I want it now .

I cant wait wait to see that you have CC my friend ...it will happen and sooner than my own .

I think I jinxed myself because right before I got the checklist I was having dinner with a fellow expat and I said that I hope "Soloenta" gets her CC and before mine...she deserves it ...lol. Well I will get my wish my friend ....goooooooooooooooooo Soloenta.....CC for you TODAY ! You have been such an inspiration to so many here . So many have been despondent or miserable over NVC etc but you always bring a tissue for the tears and a bit of joy and hope... thank you for being you.
