Nothing yet Qbanita although I havent called since last Thursday or friday! I fear calling and hearing the same bad news!

oh no.... :( is it normal for your embassy to take this long? had you look at other cases time frame?

oh no.... :( is it normal for your embassy to take this long? had you look at other cases time frame?

What I see is they normally get scheduled within the time everybody does. I'm one of the unlucky ones. I dont even know if I should call. Im wondering if scheduling has stopped!

Thank you! I am not sure how to answer the how question, but I did call to get the date. My embassy is Montreal.

USCIS 04-26-2014: Filed I-130

04-29-2014: NOA1 re-routed to CSC

05-14-2014: RFE

05-30 2014: RFE response sent

05-30-2014: RFE RESPONSE RECEIVED

06-04-2014: NOA2 I-130 Approved!

NVC

06-13-2014: Arrived at NVC

06-30-2014: Case # and IIN assigned

07-18-2014: D-261 sub mitted

07-18-2014: AOS fee invoiced

07-19-2014: AOS fee paid

07-25-2014: AOS package sent

07-28-2014 NVC received AOS

07-29-2014 NVC Scanned AOS

08-14-2014: resubmitted AOS

08-21-2014: NVC scanned AOS

09-02-2014: DS-261 reviewed and ACCEPTED! Woot!

I just recieved the package. Our joint sponsor had ticked 'I m a US citizen' in part 11a. But it's written that mark 'I'm a US national' (for joint sponsors) I have checked that box as well. Should I use a whito on 11a or is it ok if both boxes are checked?

I don't think consulate will thoroughly check for its completeness.. I assume they don't because I have committed some mistake like I am a citizen and I always put my alien number in there also (only need to list if you are a PR). I think for your case its not a mistake both can be applied.. just don't use whiteout.. just submit as it is with your joint sponsors passport copy

my ceac status changed to '' in transit '' my wife called NVC to ask for tracking number they said there is no tracking number :/

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

My status also change to IN TRANSIT today... I didn't know we had to call for a tracking number.

But I called Nvc and they told me that checking both boxes is counted as an error and that Nvc does accept forms with white out. God I m so confused what have I done :cry:

Case filed- 3rd June 2013

NOA1- 6-6-2013

Case transferred to NBC- 12-18-2013

NOA2 finally- 4-23-2014

NVC received- 5-7-2014

Case number- 5-31-2014

DS-261- June 10th!

AOS sent- 3rd july

AOS scanned- 11th July

IV paid- 14th July

DS260 submitted- 17th July

IV sent: 19th July

IV scanned: 24th July

Checklist for AOS: Email received 3rd sept :cry:

Response sent: 7th sept

Checklist scanned: 11th sept

IV approved: 17 sept :dancing:

CASE COMPLETE: 4th nov 2014!!! (AT LAST)

Interview: Dec 8th :dance: :dance:
