so finally i talked to NVC after 33 minutes on hold. She tells me the case is complete 12-1-14 but no interview schedule yet. I was guessing that they had because of the change on status. She said as soon as they have it they would email me.

  1. It goes into Ready when you have Case Complete. That's standard. It goes like this
  2. READY Means you are ready for Interview doesn't mean you have one means you are ready for one.
  3. Then once you get it you get IN-TRANSIT means NVC has shipped off your Petition to Embassy.
  4. Then its back to READY.
  5. After Interview it will either say READY than APPROVED or DENIED
  6. then Administrative Processing
  7. Than Issued

I called late last night and there was no interview date yet.

Okay see they going to make me have to strap up and go commando on them. Somebody needs a timeout at NVC now. :ranting::protest: Don't worry you know your embassy is HUGE (I believe the biggest and busiest on earth. So they have alot to do. Just get ready with your party hat. :goofy:

dwheels,

Once your case reaches the embassy from NVC, it says "READY". There is a status updated date that day when it reaches embassy. Does that date always change before the interview or it stays the same sometimes if there is not a lot of investigation involve with the case?

Thank you.

When going for interview, how do they decide if a person needs a cosponsor? Do they use total income before taxes or base it on the last years w2.
