What is the normal processing time ?

Yes it is. It takes a week or two to get to the consulate.

  •  We stayed 6 days at the Kemael Hotel Tabarre 58, Rue C. Sylvain #4 Tabarre Haiti $80.00USD per night. It is off Boulevard 15 Octobre

  • As of October 4, 2016 Still waiting for RFE hardcopy to come in the mail, called USCIS on September 30, 2016 no help.
  • As of November 3, 2016 We received an email in regards to not receiving in the mail the Request for Evidence (RFE) , come to find out they really didn't need any additional information. So now the have to wait another 120 more days before we can get an interview or approval. This is some BS.
  • As of February 7, 2017, We received in the mail Interview Date for AOS on March 20, 2017

Yes, you should definitely call them to get your case number. Have you checked CEAC? It should tell you whether it's gotten to the embassy or not. It should be after a month!

You should have gotten the hard copy of your approval from USCIS. If not, then log on to their website and request them to send one, because you'll need it at the appointment at the embassy.

DS-160 is what you have to fill out in order to schedule your interview appointment.

Yes, call NVC and give them your SRC number, that you got on your NOA1, and they'll tell you if they have it or if they already sent it to your embassy. Then ask NVC to give you your new case number. You'll need to provide both your full names and birthday dates.

Ps. You do not need to send anything to NVC.

Hello all! Needing some guidance. I called NVC today and got out case number. I tried to log in but it said it's invalid. ?. I guess I'll have to call back? They said they are sending it to the consulate. He told me I should call them directly to know what to do. He said they should have it in Ghana in 2 weeks. So I wait to do that? Or? Does anyone have experience with this?

My lawyer is doing it all so far and from what he told my fiancé I was supposed to send my long form birth certificate to him to send in a packet to nvc and they forward it to the consul? Now im confused as I shipped the birth certificate to the us for my lawyer...he said he needed it for a package. And that package will go to the consulate when I get my interview. Now im confused!
