Should the AOS I-864 form be signed in blue or black ink ?

I would go black ink (most of the documents request using black ink) and press hard so that when they turn the sheet over they can see the indentation of the signature. That way they can tell it is an original signature.

After 57 days of waiting for a case complete, we got a checklist instead, and we too were devastated. I called the NVC and after speaking with a CSR our case was forwarded for supervisor review. The 1st CSR told me they did not know how long it would take. I called back the next day & was told by another CSR it could take up to 30 days for a supervisor review. After 9 days I got a voicemail from NVC, when I called them back it was not good news. After speaking with another CSR & another supervisor, my case ended up being forwarded again for another supervisor’s review. This time I got a call back in 2 days with a case complete. After waiting 57 days & getting a checklist, then being told it could take another 30 days for a supervisor’s review, we also felt we could not do this anymore. This process is draining but you can do this. You just hold on, your day will come.

what kind of checklist did you receivd?

My AOS Checklist package got delivered in NVC yesterday, 13/11/2014! So i am wondering when will they scan my papers and i will start counting 60 days based on their priority date. SO for me it isn't important when they will email me that they received, it is more important which day they consider as start of counting 60 days.

As i remember previous time for AOS package they emailed me one week after they received but scan date was 4 days before letter.

They must be reviewing your AoS with your IV at the same time.

When we submitted ours, the pay-stubs also showed the account into which the pay was being deposited. Does your pay information show a bank/account number etc where the funds are deposited? Perhaps they like this extra bit of info when looking for proof of finances. Just a guess.

No, my pay stub's don't show that... I wasn't aware they needed that kind of proof. :(

You'd think they wouldn't need proof of that since i paid their fees directly out of my checking account. haha

I got checklist for papers i had submitted already too. Just they are doing it on purpose i have doubt. We aren't only complaining about it. I think it is end of year and they are just reducing loads on consulates with delayed cases.

Just we got random unlucky people!

No i got another checklist letter after 7 days from receiving firs one (I am sure false i will call when they open), they say we aren't in minimum sponsor income requirements :D For real we have Joint sponsor who makes as much money could get 3 more people sponsored except me. And when i got first checklist email i called and they told with joint sponsor everything was okey. Just so much mess is going on there. If i was their boss i would fire much people with low responsibility and make fees bit more but process much short. After USCIS i thought NVC was nothing for real USCIS is much more organized.

Hey there...I'm sorry for this situation. But if I were you I'd call NVC and ask for a supervisor request. If you're 100% sure you send it they'll find your papers and give a case complete. It can take up to three weeks, but it's better than the whole 60 days again, right?

Best of luck to you!
