Call NVC tomorrow, yours might be there too. I called USCIS this afternoon and the tier 2 lady told me my file was not send to NVC yet. she said it should take 30- 60 days but surprisingly I called NVC and I was told they received it today and got my case number, so don't go with what USCIS said I don't think some of them have a clue of what's going on. Wish you good luck though

I called NVC morning at about 7:20am EST time. It took about 20 minutes on hold for me to speak to a nice woman who told me my case had not been received yet (NOA2 9/17) and that it could take 5 weeks for them to receive it. That doesn't seem to have been the case with anyone else so I'm sure they just say that.

We received our NOA2 11th September

Called up the NVC on 25th September and were told our new case number. (after many, many attempts and an hour on hold we got through)

CEAC status was 'at NVC' up until today where it now shows 'In Transit'.

We have yet to receive a hard copy NOA2.

I never received a hardcopy from NVC either and I was approved on August 14th n the lady said 2-4 weeks so you are not alone.

Ok I have read all of the posts on this thread, but I am unsure of a few things.

1, Can one tell if NVC has received their case online? If so exactly how and where?

2. How do you know your case has NVC for the Consulate is their online way to know? If so how and where?

In our case we received a letter from NVC with case# stating that they would be forewarding it to the applicable embassy. You can then wait 7-10 days and e-mail the embassy and ask if they have received the case, or simply wait for the beneficiary to receive the packet3. DO NOT send a completed packet3 submission until you know the embassy has received youre case and is at the visa services unit.

Hello everyone... TSC transfer to CSC. NOA2 September 16th. Called NVC today and they still don't have my case.

It appears all the transfers that got approved in mid September are still waiting for an NVC case number...

NVC did tell me that they recieve most of the files from the service centers on Mondays and Tuesdays. I hope we all get case numbers this week...
