The NVC checklisted my friend saying all of her originals in the IV package were copies! She spoke with reps over and over again...she even put in a supervisors request and today she spoke with supervisor Betsy who also confirmed that they were copies and not originals!

What is happening to NVC? Why are they acting like such lunatics! She's obviously devestated and I don't know how to comfort her

Fellow VJrs please make a small prayer on her behalf that some sense prevails into the heads of NVC workers and they stop mistreating people like this.

I am speechless! Prayers said. :(t0803.gif t0803.gif

Oh hi Eoc, sorry I have been off vj for a couple of days. I was not feeling too well, still a little sick. Yes my file has arrived, but still waiting on the consulate to schedule an appointment. I emailed them, and tell replied telling me, I should hear from them by Monday. How are you doing? I hope you are not stressing yourself out. You will soon get a cc, and an appt in November, please stay strong sweetie. To my other sis from a different mama, Soloenta I hope things are working out for you too. I know you are going through a really tough time, please hang in there.

I recently wrote an email to Senator Boxer, about the delays, checklists etc at nvc. Hopeful things will get done quicker, I heard she is very passionate about immigration.

Hello my sister from another mommi hehehee I'm hanging in there I'm at least happy Sylvia the supervisor is handling our case. I've called two days in a row and she hasn't called back so jut asked them to let her know I was asking about the case. I don't want to piss her off.

I don't want to depress you but Boxer only cares about illegals I don't think she will do a thing for us. Now bring your husband here against the law and you just might make her happy. :D. But miracles do happy. t4582.gif

It's not up yet, will work on it this weekend.

Serco lost the NVC contract; it's now FCi Federal. Find them on facebook and flood their page.

Ok would have been easier with a link but will hunt for them ty very much. :) (L) (L)

If what she sent in is indeed the originals, maybe she can try to contact her Senator or congressman or keep speaking with a supervisor. My prayers goes out for her.

I just called and spoke with NVC rep {didn't get hold of his name}. He told me about the missing document and also waiting for the supervisor review. I asked to talk with Supervisor Silvia, he placed me on hold and he told me that Supervisor Silvia said Octavio is the supervisor currently handling my case file and that he resume 4pm, he asked me to call back in the evening to speak with Octavio any time from 4.30pm.

**Hubby planned to call this night anyway but I was just too impatient to know the outcome of our case.

At least am a bit relief someone has been appointed to handle my case file and Supervisor Silvia and the rep even confirmed its Octavio without me telling them hubby had spoke with Octavio before.

Am praying to God to touch the heart of Octavio and make him check my file and give me a CC. My prayers also goes to Soloenta, Samreen, Romil, Msc and everyone going thru this immigration process. We all shall come out of this process victorious and happy by God's grace.

(L) So happy they are handling your case and Silvia is handling mine we are both lucky to get to good supervisors. God willing my friend all this will be part of the past. :)t4582.gif

New thread each month please Soloenta my dear!!!

Hi Ebu, thanks for your sweet words. So sorry about your health, hope you have taken some medications. Am glad your file had arrived Lagos, hopefully on Monday, you'll receive instructions from the embassy about your medicals and interview date. You are in my prayers, please get well soon.

Sorry to tell you this, but I strongly suspect ignorance, incompetence or foul play outside of NVC.

First, your friend needs to absolutely verify if her originals were indeed sent. Unless she sent the originals with her own hands and direct to NVC, she shouldn't take it for granted that they were indeed sent. Lawyer, spouse, family members, friends, or even herself could easily have held on to the originals with good intentions or otherwise. Furthermore, many filers mistake notarized copies for NVC's definition of certified copies.

Second, if she fails to acquire the originals from whomever is holding them (outside of NVC), then she needs to get busy and immediately with obtaining original reissues. Once collected, she should not have them sent on her behalf by anyone. She needs to physically assemble them and send them herself.

Hi all, I suppose I want to vent a little. NVC is so unorganized it is maddening. We arrived at NVC in May of this year, and waited till end of june for any bills to become available. For some reason we could only pay the AOS, my husbands DS261 was filled out, but this small questionnaire has yet to be 'checked' so that he can pay the DS260 and get on with this process. The AOS I sent was accepted July 7th (it took a week of sitting there for them to scan it in!)

Soooo, we are waiting for the approval (hopefully) of the AOS and the release of the bill for the DS260. We also had to change embassies from Tokyo to France because my husbands work ended and he had to go back to his home country. That alone took 3 emails and taking to 3 separate people to get them to start processing the embassy change. When I called to check on why we couldn't fill out the DS260 yet, they gave me this as an excuse....changing embassies.

And on top of it all two months after them receiving my AOS, they sent me an email saying it would be 60 more days to process it. Then the next day they sent me an email saying I hadn't contacted the NVC for more then a year and I had to refile my paperwork. Obviously they are not organized at all and blindly answering emails. We just got to the NVC in May. I just don't know how to get more info from these guys. I've tried being nice, I've tried asking for a manager, I've tried being nice again, nothing works.

I know you all are in my boat, just wanted to say hello and talk to fellow frustrated spouses. I hope you are all getting somewhere :)
