Hello,

I am trying to schedule an interview for October in New Delhi for my wife ands step daughter. My wife and step daughter are in India. I am going through the check list of documents needed for the interview as stated in packet 4. One of the items in the checklist is for Marriage Certificate. I have my marriage certificate for my marriage to my wife. However, I read the checklist item in detail now. The check list item states that I need a marriage certificate for all prior marriages. Both me and my wife were married before. I do not have the marriage certificate for my previous marriage and neither does my wife. We both do have divorce certificates for our past marriages indicating that we have legally ended our earlier marriages.

What should I do? Is this a deal breaker? Aren't the divorce decrees sufficient ? I am planning on going to the interview with the documents I have because I am at the end of my wits. I cannot stay stuck in this limbo of paperwork and bureaucracy forever.

Can others going for their interviews chime in? I cant imagine that I am the only one that is getting remarried. Why do I and my wife need our past marriage certificates?

Aos and civil document checklist come as one checklist or 2 different one if something missing in both package??

Still even you send both package together bez I send both of them but I got checklist only on my wife birth certificate civil doucment then mean my aos is good ??

Maybe it could mean they haven't reviewed it yet. The AOS and IV are two different departments. The checklist also are different. Just don;t worry if you got nothing for AOS why worry. Just send them what they ask for for the IV.

And you really should be in the NVC filers thread asking these questions. They are going though it now and can better help you.

I already send it on August 15 it's been 45days for civil doucment but the aos been send June 9 no checklist so far should be f9 I hope if lord will ameen
