Just noticed the date on the letter is 9/17 and was only addressed to my husband, I did not get one. Maybe that is the date we got a cc? I found out about the cc on 9/19 because that is when I called, and we both got the email on 9/22 so our emails are both still working. I'll try to call when I get home from work at 9pm.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it too much. It seems to happen occasionally. Just confirm the mailing and email addresses with them next time you call.

If you received your CC email on 9/22, there's a good chance your case was completed a week earlier on 9/15.

My hopes for the end of the week have crashed and burned. Called again. No interview yet. What's more, "Carla" actually recognized my voice from yesterday. Sigh. She said that October interviews are all full. Duh. She said to call back the second week of October! Ha. I said there's no way I will be able to wait that long. I told her another agent told me that they have already started scheduling for November. She said: yeahhhhh, you know what feel free to call back every week if you want. What date is it? I said September 26th. She said they do start scheduling near the end the of month, the beginning of the month and the middle of the month.

I got absolutely nowhere. Sorry folks.

Not necessarily! Though, if no one has had luck today, then I doubt it'll happen today. Maybe it'll start Weds of next week! When I was waiting for an interview, someone (dirk diggler?) created a graph showing the trends of assignments during the week and Weds and Thurs were the highest with Monday and Friday being unlikely. Mine wasn't until Thurs, and I called in the morning disheartened after they told me to keep waiting. I called back around 2 pm the same day and got it! Sometimes it's better to call later in the day or at night so you're not left wondering if they assigned the date later after a morning call.

I think in k.dlg's case she just missed the 1st round which mostly went on 6/24-6/25 and had to wait 2 week for that 2nd round to start on 7/10. We're still waiting for the 1st November round... Rounds don't always start on the 24th and 10th. They like to keep us guessing because they look forward to speaking with us.

I'm soooo nervous about my interview next week, I don't know if I can sleep all weekend I also just got new braces for my teeth and they're so painful I probably can't sleep because of them either. Maybe they'll feel sorry for me at the embassy I do look pretty pathetic

I'm not so much worried about being approved (cause of course we'll be approved ), but I'm super-worried that I won't get the visa in time for our departure. Husband emailed the embassy once more about our unfortunately tight schedule, and they moved my interview 1,5h earlier

Lol you are right!!! That's the way life goes, especially when dealing with the NVC
