Well to my surprise last Wednesday sep. 10th I got an email of case complete and interview date as oct 23 I couldn't believe it !!! I am so excited !!!! :dancing::dancing: :joy: :dancing:

Exciting news from the NVC today! I spoke with them on the phone and the person said that since they have received both our AOS and IV packets that they will review them together at the same time. This is exciting because our AOS was received August 1 so 60 days review should be completed within 2 weeks! Praying we got a CC on or before October 1!

You will not get any hard copy from NVC about when they receive your packages, but many people are getting "60 days to review documents" letter and it mentions a received date of your documents.

Hi Thanks,

I called NVC, they said my packages are under review. They got my packages on 29th August. I didn't get hard copy of that. Hope to get it done soon. Posting for others who has the same scenario.

Thank you.

Make sure you call to find out your case completion, because I didn't receive an email, My scan date was of July 17th for a checklist and I called today and case was completed on 09/10. :D

Then you might have caught the tail end of the October interview scheduling. Did you ask about the interview? It's like NVC not to volunteer good news.

Hello All

Looking for advice regarding the following issue ...thanks

1) 2009-2010 I was living at address1 with zipcode 123

2) 2011-2012 Imoved to address2

3) 2012 i moved to address where I was living in 2009-2010 but the state has changed zip code of that address to 456

Question

While writing my address for my stay from 22009-2010 in DS 260 should i write zip code 123(zip at that time )or 456

Thanks

I would put the address as it was when you lived in it. Chances are it would be compared to public record documents of the period that would have the old zip code.

Hello

One quick question regarding ds-260

1) US visa issued in 2010...Travelled to US in 2010 with visa number 123 got finished in 2011

2) applied another tourist visa in 2012 which I never used for travelling which is currently valid

In DS - 260 where its asks : Have you ever been issued a US visa and asked about last US visa issued?

Should I provide visa detail of 1) or 2)

The above questions is asked after I provide my US last visit details which I did on my 1) visa

Put the latest visa issued to you regardless of use or validity period. For example, if you have a 10-year B1/B2 issued in 2005 and a 5-year J1 issued in 2007, you should put the J1 even though it's expired and the B1/B2 is still valid.

Yup, still lurking! ;) It wasn't me who made that comment about December though. Possibly it was dwheels, as she keeps much closer track of interview scheduling than probably anyone on the site. She might have some past examples to show that would be the case, but I've seen her state a few times that the two round scheduling system is new to this year, so I'm not sure.

Hey hi

Can someone clear this,is it true that there will be no interviews scheduling in december??

Bos if u r reading this I wanted to ask that u were the one who said that December is the only month where there isn't second round of interview scheduling right? So if we get approved first week of November there isn't any chance of dec interview? Just thinking.

Hey samreen can you clear this what do you mean by there isnt chance of dec interviews?? Nvc doesnt schedule interviews in dec? What about people who get cc by november? I was hoping to get a dec interview...

Not true. It's just last December's interviews were scheduled during one round only, not the usual two.

Correction: They had only one scheduling round during December 2013, instead of two. The scheduling was for the February interview dates.

You plan to send the packages even without the IV bill? Though, i expect the IV bill early as the new procudure mentioned wait 15 days after submitting DS261 before going to the next step which is paying the fees. (AOS and IV). Which i think make sense as they require the packages be sent together..
