LG Nexus 4; Mr U wants to buy me a new Nexus 5. Since I am a greedy CABA hag, I will have paid for neither.

I've got the Nexus 4, until my new phone arrives. It's a good phone but still glitches - weird restarts etc.

I have the Galaxy S4 and there are things I love and hate about it. Particularly the slippery and flimsy backing! I actually had to have the screen replaced because the LCD cracked the 4th day of owning it - definitely faulty cos I haven't had that problem since. Also my battery was part of a bad batch and was replaced too. It seems more fragile than an iphone but other than that is a decent phone.

The best part is that it's not locked to a carrier - which I have to say is the most annoying thing about phone plans in the US besides the fact you get screwed over by the phone companies!

I bought an iphone 4s last year when we moved back because it was practically free. Works well enough for me and I like the seamless transition across my Apple devices.

I've got something like that. LG for sure. Optimus, I think. The rest I don't know. Don't really care either. If it wasn't for my wife insisting on having a smartphone - she has the Galaxy S3 - I would just have a stinking cell phone with a cheap talk only plan. I don't text and I don't need to surf the web on the go either. Although having the ability to listen to my favorite German radio stations on tunein while out jogging is quite nice.
