Comments : Biometrics were done at ASC Boise and original interview scheduled for 16th April 2012 in Boise but was cancelled by the local office themselves and noted to be rescheduled. Hubby wasn't deploying so changed location back to Cali (ASC Chula Vista), for some reason CSC did not pass on that we had filed change of address - this lead to major confusion about rescheduling the interview. ASC Boise rescheduled me for May (NOA sent to old address (hubby's dad's) not updated address), was listed as no show for interview which lead to a denial notice in early June 2012, after calling they apologized and retracted denial/case reopened). Whole issue caused my interview to be delayed 2 months!

Event Description

Embassy Review : Try not to park in their car park (very expensive parking).
Entering security were friendly and helpful. The downside was the wait time, we arrived 5-10 mins early since we live 2hrs away but waited a long time (45-50 mins) with one other couple in the waiting room. The IO who interviewed us was pleasant and he didn't make us uncomfortable (we were very nervous and he took the edge off), the interview lasted about 15 mins. It was short and we never felt interrogated, in all very good experience.
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
