Yeah I even thought that maybe they open mail on Wednesdays and that's why they don't attend callers. But evidently, not.

They'll be hearing from me again next week for sure!

Also, I wouldn't trust them to call your husband when the file arrives. Just FYI. But I'm sure you already knew that

Just want to be sure.

We need to get another police report for interview.

I submitted one to NVC i only got one copy. And its dated for April, 2014

Do i need another one??

I don't think you need another one...but check your interview letter...it will tell you what was shipped to the consulate and what you need to bring if anything. I know that on my mom's interview letter is says u only need police record if the one you submitted is older than the one year.

Hello everyone,

Congratulation to all who have received their Interview date. It would really be helpful if someone can help me with my concern.

My case has been completed and now is in interview queue (as per NVC rep). I am changing my job. Is that going to delay my case? Do I need to re-submit my I-864EZ to NVC or let my Spouse take it to the Interview. I understand a new employment letter will accompany the I-864EZ and possibly one or two pay stubs along with it.

Any sorts of suggestion is appreciated.

Called today, rude lady said "there is no time frame I can give you ma'am, could be two weeks, could be 6 months for an interview letter"

I would like to appoint myself and Saylin and maybe 10 more soldiers to be overseer-er of immigration affairs. USCIS, NVC and we would have agents onsite at embassy. This is cray cray. ughhh Sorry you guys. I try to make it flow easy but nothing about this is easy at all.

if only it were that easy!!!! If they had a facility in Philly, I'd be at the door with my resume and all of my immigration experience to work there so I could help others. That really should be a job requirement.. #1 you must have prior PERSONAL experience dealing with the immigration process !!!!

I got a Case Complete on June 4, and an Interview letter on June 11. My CEAC status still says "In Transit" - 13 days after my interview letter arrived. There have been two packets that have arrived in Sydney - one (1 pound) on Monday and one (3.3 pounds) on Thursday. But both of us scheduled for an interview on July 1st (Snikit15 and I) still have "In Transit" for our statuses (statii????)

I'll call at the end of the week to see exactly when my file was sent...

And LoveMyTico - what I think is that each EXP packet that leaves NVC contains multiple dates - so finding your specific one is hard. I just enter every single date and snoop!

Hello! Today my status changed to "in transit" . Nothing on the DHL website yet, though .

I have to wait until the package arrives to the embassy and then I'll have an interview date

I just requested a new Police certificate online... And I guess it's time to start printing pictures and finding boarding passes and other stuff

Don't worry LoveMyTico and LucyBelle I'm sure that your files are already there and they will take them out and check them at some point before the interview

Yes. you need original police report. one for NVC one for US embassy. If you can't get it you can show unexpired SL police report issued less than one year ago (found this on my interview letter). SL report has a 6 months valid period but don't depend on my word.

When aoplying should I just fillout the application and attch the previous copy of police report and the plice reference number.

Is that correct?
