snikit15, the website for the Sydney Consulate is soooooo outdated! It still has the instructions for DCF - and Australia doesn't do that anymore! NVC will send the docs to the Consulate, and you will bring exactly what you list above.

There is so much that is outdated on ALL the US Embassy sites!

Let me know when you get your date - I'm not too far behind you!

I'll let you know when I get an interview date. I would have one already if not for NVC deciding I actually didn't have a CC and then giving me a later CC date. Whatevs!

For passport gives the code Y which says "the NVC sent this form or document to the us embassy or consulate"

Pssst! You did submit a copy of your passport, hence the letter Y is appropriate. :secret:

Question, so a lot of you guys(the petitioners) aren't traveling for the interview? Your spouses are doing it on their own? I told my hubby that I am not to sure if I am going to be able to go for the interview, I don't want this though to affect the approval.

My hubby's interview is today and I'm not there. It really doesn't matter if your there or not. In fact some embassy's won't even let you in. I wish I could be there for moral support though. But it won't affect the results as long as everything is in order. Good luck! :)

Ok! So I went to http://www.dhl-usa.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html

and I put in EXP 02 JUN 2014A with a range of may 30 till today June 4, plus Canada, and got ONE package that has already arrived in Montreal.

(I had also tried EXP 03 and EXP 04 and a few days earlier too, but nothing was found)

Now how do we know it's mine or if it's yours? Or are BOTH of ours in there :dance:

I also found one that left june 3 as well. so may june 2nd was your and june 3 was mine?

Tracked through DHL. Only one parcel picked up from NVC on the 3rd of Jun and already delivered to destination this morning at 11:10 AM local time (06:10 AM ET).

So, hopefully the consulat will honor my request to get an earlier interview date.

I went to www.dhl.com

click on Express and then on Track by Shipper's Reference.

and then I used the info on the picture and hit Track.

When does the CEAC update status from 'in NVC' to 'In Transit' ?

Is it after they send it to DHL or before that?

I have seen two packages with June 4 and June 5 to Mumbai,India but CEAC page shows 'in NVC'
