I badly need an interview appointment? is it applicable to ask and call the embassy for an appointment?

my husband already bought me a ticket for july to fly with him back to US when he get here in the philippines.

we have received our ceac confirmation notice this May 17, 2014.. its already June :(

No its not applicable. The embassy knows nothing of you since they do not have your case file. I haven't heard any announcements for anyone for Philippines so they probably haven;t started. Just stay positive.

Still here, we are waiting for medical appointment. I emailed the embassy to request an earlier interview date but no luck. :no: Oh well! However, it is so awesome to read so many good news from a lot of people! Keep it up NVC!

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

Found out yesterday that my interview will be July 1st.

My NOA1 April 2013, so for some reason I'm not excited? I probably don't believe it.

I'm thinking of going against all the advice and booking a flight in advance, but probably 3 weeks after the interview to be safe. Flying from Australia it could mean the difference of $1000 to book ahead of time so I feel like it's a calculated risk.

Found out yesterday that my interview will be July 1st.

My NOA1 April 2013, so for some reason I'm not excited? I probably don't believe it.

I'm thinking of going against all the advice and booking a flight in advance, but probably 3 weeks after the interview to be safe. Flying from Australia it could mean the difference of $1000 to book ahead of time so I feel like it's a calculated risk.

Congrats to a fellow April 2013 Filer!!! Don't worry, I wasn't very excited at first either. Like you said after all the waiting and delays it's hard to believe it's really happening. But trust me when I say, once it gets closer you WILL be bouncing off the walls excited!! :dance::dance: :dance:

Heck yeah, you can look great at 44!! I have just a few years on you and I finally colored my hair the other day, and felt invigorated to style my hair today! It's been so busy with work and selling the house - having to be out of it more than in it most days, and of course no hubby to try to look good for, so I've let things slide a little lately :pop::girlwerewolf2xn::content:

Now that the end is in sight, it's all hands on deck!! Time to get some sun and fun and feel good so I'm recharged for the move to be with my love again B-):yes::dance:

So, I have changed my profile pic to one of me and hubby last year in BG. I have never put a pic of myself on the internet before. ( I'm just weird like that) I don't facebook or anything. But all this talk about hair and stuff has made me decide to put this up for awhile. Hubby's the cute one!!
