Well I just got off the phone with NVC to ask about my interview date and now they are telling me that my case isn't complete yet and is still under review? I called last week and they said my case was complete as of 27th of May. Feeling really sad right now.

I would call back if I was you to double check!

This is ridiculous! what the hell is going with NVC? did they get the USCIS virus?

Yes last all the three previous years are way above the poverty line. The current pay is higher than the previous years. Nvc didn't mention anything about me bringing the 2013 tax information to the interview.

NVC isn't going to tell you that. But its required. If you don't want delay I would strongly suggest 2013 in your hands when you get there.

Everyone so far that has interviewed since April has had to present. I even read somewhere the embassy at one country (I forgot which) would not accept their extension and they had to file.

Remember NVC is only a document intact facility that Accepts not approves anything. The final decision is the CO at embassy. You could chance it and go to interview without worst case you will get a 221g and have to delay and give them what they want.

Call back and ask to speak to a supervisor and find out what the issue is and you will deal with it at the embassy.

QUestion: After an interview is scheduled, how long does NVC take to actually send the file to the Consulat/embassy?

Now why would you go to the June thread and ask the same question that thread is suppose to be dead people move on to the current. This one.

You call NVC they tell you when they send every case every embassy has different timelines. then you can start tracking with the DHL tracker (Read first post). It's a guesstimate that's your package but close. I knew mine was mine because mine weighed 20 lbs and 21 lbs went out 11 days later when I called and knew the date I knew it was mine. All the way to Ben Obi's hands.

Medical booked for June 24th and Greek police certificate finally ordered after 7 phone calls of misinformation and a trip to Citizens Services to angrily argue with the employees there. They don't even know their procedures that are in place! I swear Greek bureaucracy is the worst!

Also I called NVC to clear up the 'AOS fee rejected' debacle and was told all is good. Apperantly with are having lots of problems with the new website and their payment portal ( quoting customer rep ).

Also asked if my case file has been shipped to the embassy in Athens and was told that they will most likely send it off end of the week.

Do you have someone else tied to your case? I was told that my stepson's case was complete, but then I had to wait another week for my wife's case to be finished. Then, on the day they told me her case was also complete, they told me that the official case complete date for my stepson was the same as hers (though it was a week later than they originally told me). So if two cases are linked, it may be that they're waiting to complete the second case to be wrapped up. Good luck!

Pls dwheels do you know which number to call the embassy at lagos, I need to verify about this 2013 taxes, because even if I file now, the transcript won't be ready in July.

They do not take calls you email them. And they won;t tell you a thing but hey you can try. If you filed now you would take your tax forms and w2

hehe. And you know what I had ordered a neat rubber stamp when we got case# and every page (1291 pages) were all stamped with case# and at USCIS I had rubber stamp made with our full names so that too was on every page.

I never been OCD in life but you know this process will make you cray cray OCD without you knowing it.

Must have been that stamp ink that tipped the scales over huh? Not so much the >1000 pages

The NVC employee who got your file must still be talking about you until now. I'm wondering at what page did they stop reading and just gave you the completion out of sheer exhaustion.
