Help! Do I need a new police check?!

My husband got a 221g at his interview to show my domicile. We are finally ready to send in our proof now. (I have moved to the states with our two kids)

The interview letter said to make sure the police check was within 1 year. That was at the time of the interview.

Now it's been over a year since the police check.

Although all the are asking for in the 221g is domicile proof. Should I get my husband to get a new police check?

from what I understand the police check has to be 12 months or less, not a day or week or month over
