LOL@ congratulations on no movement. I am seriously beginning to think my stuff has been lost.

Last night I was able to shower AND wash my hair while on hold with them. That's sad.

Last night, I gave my kitties some cat nip and watched them go bananas while on hold. That was much more fun than now :/

Bdrew612 our timelines are almost the same

My IV docs were scanned in on 5/16. Everything else is done

Just waiting debating if i should call today

I'm on hold now... I'll let you know what I find out!

I've been so curious so I just have to ask, what is the meaning of etrangais? I thought it might be more than

two words put together. :D:secret:............ :pop:

I'll tell you if you promise not to laugh at me.

I've been using the nickname "etrangais" since 2000 when I first came to the USA.

I misspelled the word "etranger" which is French for 'alien" as USCIS describes immigrants.

I liked the way it sounded so I decided not to correct it, and here we are 14 years later: "etrangais"

Okay I just want to give closure to the issue I had earlier with the AOS fee showing as Paid but the funds were not debited from my account.

Today the status changed to "NOT PAID" and the previous transaction is labeled as "Rejected". I went ahead and paid it myself this time to make sure that the routing and account numbers are for sure right. I lost 10 days from this but I'm hoping the payment of the AOS doesn't impact the appearance of the IV?

So sorry to hear about the lost time on AOS :( I'm glad it's resolved now, and the bright side is that it will have no impact whatsoever on your IV track. That's based solely on acceptance of the DS-261.

Ok, only on hold for 20 minutes! Agent Kelly (who kept cutting me off - 2 can play that game btw) told me to wait 30 days from the 16th, those documents haven't been reviewed yet. So I asked when my AOS documents were reviewed because they've been there since May 7th. Then I got "ma'amed" and was told they receive 100 of packets of packets a day and it takes time to review those so I need to wait 30 days.

I told her I know it does not take 30 days, packets are reviewed and case completes are issued in a shorter amount of time. I'm just trying to get an idea of when to call back. She said I should try back around June 7th. Which is a Saturday. They got jokes at NVC today!

Soooooooooo I asked her when do officers review packets? Is it from 9-5 only? She said there are 2 shifts and they do review packets in the evening. Guess who's calling back LOL

But since she was a snot and told me to call back on a Saturday, I don't believe anything she told me lol

Ask her who pissed in her Cheerios this morning lol

I wonder if she'll give you the same info if you ask the same questions.... I have yet to get an Agent to tell me what day they're working on with packages. I am interested to know if that's true if there's officers working at night reviewing documents.

GOOD LUCK! I hope you have a pleasant phone call!

they are all full of poop. I asked what day they were processing, she acted like she was looking something up and came back and said May 1st.... which we all know is the biggest BULL ####### FEST EVER.

I did not know there were 2 shifts though.... I thought it was just the phones... hmmm then I guess calling at 9pm is a better bet than 6pm

i have same question too! ugh...i feel like EP is taking forever... emailed them package last week, do you think I should call them to see if they rec'd anything? or they dont know either for EP? Thanks!

You can call as often as you wish. Some operators know more about EP than others. It's always a hit or miss with operators about anything.
