OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have waited for over a year to say this!!! I literally just screamed and did a cartwheel at work! :dancing:

CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!

I emailed on Wednesday and put it to the attention of the DR and requested an immediate review of both cases for their #######-up of the civil documents. I don't know if it did anything but they case completed both parents yesterday! Jenny gave me the good news and I may have deafened her if any of y'all talk to her today ;)

Oh how wonderful!!!! Finally!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!!! What relief and joy you must be feeling now!!!! :)

Yeah, I wish I could say the same... :(

Put your timeline in your signature...you will get lots of help here that will propel you to "case complete" with NO checklists.

Keep checking the CEAC portal. It will be available shortly. Take this time and start doing research and making notes.

Get your packets ready to ship. Look at my timeline, once you get access its "game on" and you can be "DONE"

in 3-4 weeks with CEAC :)

Just spoke to Arthur at NVC and he said both packages, AOS and IV, were received and logged in and then he gave me the whole "wait 30 days speech."

He was nice, but I am afraid we won't get a Case Complete in time for a June interview :cry: I shouldn't have convinced myself that we could be together by June...it's going to be such a disappointment. :mellow:

Hey I have changed my consulate during the NVC process, you have to email them requesting a change and attach proof of it. they can change consulate to home country or where you are. So either send copy of passport from London, or proof of residing there, took me 40 days to get it.

Hey mate, thanks for the quick reply. I see from your timeline that you sent your AOS and IV packets before the case # change? I take it this was no problem? To be fair NVC told me that it was ok...

.... I sent the email with a copy of my passport and they have confirmed they have changed my address and are in the process of changing the case #

Was that 40 business days or 40 days days...

you think it's ok to send the AOS packet now or should I wait until it shows as paid?

I sent mine as soon as I was able to pay!!!!!!!

Wasted enough time already!!!!!!

so this is my little note to the NVC.
NVC please you can take all the time you want with my case but I only ask one thing; please give us a June interview, please?

Gonna call when I get home today! Not expecting anything, but what the hell.

I'll be psyched if we get CC next week :idea: My AOS checklist response got there at the same time as the IV civil docs. We'll see!

July 16: POE through Miami
July 22: SSN card in the mail
August 30, 2014: Green card arrives in the mail!!!

April 27, 2016: Sent 300 page ROC packet to VSC via overnight mail
May 16: Check shown as charged online, received NOA 1 dated April 29
June 20, 2016- Biometrics
April 28, 2017: Approval

I would wait until the money is deducted from your account. Once it's deducted it's almost through. But I had an AOS fee reject one time. If they get your documents before the fee is paid I'm pretty sure they reject the documents.

I called them today as well and got the same response. My reaction was exactly the same as yours. I really really want a June interview too. But I think I am going to start convincing myself of a July interview so that the disappointment won't be as heartbreaking.
