Received the following email today "The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner

and attorney (if applicable) will be notified. " My case was completed on March 26 as known by calling NVC on March 27.

Now waiting for interview to be scheduled!

I just got off phone with NVC and was told that my case is not available?? my case was approved 2 February and received on 10 March . still no case can someone tell me that normal or there is something wrong? ????

Please fill out your timeline. It took a long time from approval to being received by NVC. Where did you get your approval from?

Called NVC just now. Call answered in 11 minutes by a courteous lady, didn't catch her name though. She said they did not receive my file yet. I told her on the NOA2 it mentions that I should receive correspondence from NVC within 30 days. She said it takes 8 weeks for sure before I would hear anything.

Its like Christmas !!! YAY she told me to call back Friday to make sure they shipped it out to the embassy.

Wow! This must be like christmas in April, I think some how you are being compensated for the lost time. Lucky you, your K3 made it through to the embassy.

So at the sing in page, where it says - I am the .........I should put PRINCIPAL APPLICANT and in the next step I chose my husband as an Agent? Am I correct? And do I put my electronic signature or my husbands?

Yes you are correct.

That seems to be a Canadian doctor, will the same apply for Indians? According to that site, I only require DPT, MMR, and influenza.

You are the petitioner not principal applicant. At the NVC the beneficiary is the principal applicant.

So you sent your IV package before you get your IV invoiced (According to your signature)?

Once you get your case number, is there a time limit on when you can submit your documents?

NVC has to hear from you at least once a year. If you don't contact the NVC for a year, everything will expire and you'll have to resubmit to resume processing.

In the generic i864 instructions does not say to use CAPITAL letters. Is this only applicable to i864W?

yes, and i just found it out yesterday. hoping NVC wont be that too strict...

if only Todd or Gus will review our documents, for sure they'll be more understanding.

Sylvia (a supervisor at NVC) said that she will put in an "expedite request" for my K3 because it has been taking so long.

We`ll submit AOS package + IV package at the sasme time to the NVC next week. How long does it usually take to get the case complete or a checklist? Something around 4 weeks?

I called NVC last night, they told me they did not receive my case yet it may take 8 weeks till they get it. I hope it will be much quicker than that.
