I just got off phone with NVC and was told that my case is not available?? my case was approved 2 February and received on 10 March . still no case can someone tell me that normal or there is something wrong? ????

If you talking about case # you have to wait for 30 business days,you should expect case # after April 10, than you can start calling NVC every day.

I think the List of Approved Panel Physicians for Mumbai consulate was posted by Bkghosh. What I want to know is, is it the latest instructions? Do I need to take all of these immunizations?

I don't think I will need the oral polio as it does not apply to me and I got chicken pox as a child, so I won't be needing the Varicella vaccine. Also, I think the hepatitis A+B is the same as hepatitis A and hepatitis B.

I received a checklist on my I-864 and the same for my joint sponsor.

The issue is with Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment, and specifically Item 13.a.1.

This is where you are supposed to enter total income as reported on Federal tax returns for the most recent three years. I attached transcripts for both myself and my joint sponsor, and I made the mistake of putting adjusted gross income instead of total income.

Who would have thought some tax credits for a few hundreds dollars would come bank to haunt me

My issue is now that I have entered the total income for both my own I-864 and my joint sponsors, I don't want to get checklisted again for the same item. Here is my situation.

My joint sponsor is fine, I corrected the adjusted to the total income in all three blanks (13.a, .b and .c)

With my own return, it is a little more complicated since me and my wife have filed jointly for the past three years. Total income on the tax transcripts includes her income as well. In Part 6. Item 5. I entered my individual annual income and had no problem and since my wife will not be working at her job upon moving to the States, for Item 10. My current Annual Household Income I entered the same as in Item 5.

So now the question is, in part 13.a. do I put my individual annual income for all three years or just write what is listed in the tax transcript as total income (filing jointly)?

I do not need to take my wife's income into account, and would prefer not to fill out any additional forms for her (I-864A for her) or translate her local tax returns since we don't need to take her income into account anyway.

If anybody has any idea what to do in this situation, it would be greatly appreciated. From searching, most people have indicated that the NVC phone operators aren't especially helpful and just tell you to read the instructions in this situation.

Let me wish everyone here at NVC best wishes. I specially want to wish several of you whose cases are running parallely here at NVC with our case - Changnoi, waiting___, ja&ka, senegal0123, amveam, Fabian&Rossy, dadajnm, ya12yo23, jem13 and a few others. Hope you get your Case Complete by the middle of April and interview in May.

Hi! We're kinda in that group! Is there still hope for a May interview if cases get completed by mid-April? Our lawyer's office still haven't finished submitting the DS260 (so frustrating), but hopefully they'll do so today. I'm nervous about having an interview scheduled anytime between mid-June through mid-July, as Rio is hosting the World Cup (soccer). Besides being expensive and a nuisance to travel anywhere in Brazil during that time, especially to/from Rio, it's potentially dangerous.

If we get our case complete mid-April, who should we be calling to try and get our interview in May? (Consulate or NVC - sorry if it's written somewhere, this time I didn't research). Thank you

Of course you can. You have to fill it (the beneficiary) and appoint your husband as an agent.

So i finally sent out the IV Package today and was also able to fill out DS-260.. it was super easy and only took me around 40 minutes i would say as i prepared everything beforehand with the 2014 screen shots that someone posted.

Also not sure if this it country specific, but i only had to fill in my present employer and job information and they also didnt ask for my education background, so pretty easy on that part. I didnt take new screen shots, but like i said it was pretty much like the other 2014 ones.

i have to say that after all the wait for a case number it only took my husband and i another week to pay everything and send everything in, so it looks like nvc is working their butts off which i appriciate a lot.. now praying and waiting for no checklists and a case complete this month.

hi there I was checking the screen shots and I seen it doesn't show right in the page but they have a lil tab that says add more IDK if Im correct or maybe is a country thing

So at the sing in page, where it says - I am the .........I should put PRINCIPAL APPLICANT and in the next step I chose my husband as an Agent? Am I correct? And do I put my electronic signature or my husbands?

In the generic i864 instructions does not say to use CAPITAL letters. Is this only applicable to i864W?
