Hi!

Our first time for visajourney.

Reading the forums made us feel we are in good track that guides us for NVC process.

Our AOS package still on hand for completion because I'm with a co-sponsor, My questions are, does it necessary to have my documents specially the I-864 forms be notarized? where at the I-864 be the notarization be place?

thank you,hoping for a substantial response rose.gifheart.gifdancin5hr.gif

thank you for the quick reply,.. counting on you for the next steps, rose.gifheart.gifdancin5hr.gif

Called NVC today and my IV was invoiced 02/28/14.Without knowing that NVC will invoice my IV today my husband sent the IV package documents using the bar coded cover sheet from payment portal, which is the same bar coded cover sheet that we used for AOS package, ahead of time to cut down on wait time.NVC rep. said "perfect! you're moving right along" the bar coded cover sheet from the payment portal is what you need to send with any documents or any correspondents with NVC.The IV package documents are listed on saylin's post 1 & 2 of this monthly thread,i just hope that NVC during the review process will not require anymore additonal documents. Now it's a waiting game and I'm hoping for a positive outcome so i could be with my honeybunny wink.png

really?! you can use the barcoded sheet of AOS for you IV package? you got me confused there, i read the cover sheets it has different wordings tho but i guess that isn't important. ours still onhand, NVC hasnt cashed out in husbands accoutn also so were still waiting.

yea...we're getting 2 decent storms next week...one definite sunday into Monday and POSSIBLY Tuesday...and one not definite on Thursday :( Im a school bus driver so yea..im pretty upset too...we don't get paid for snow days! grrrr

ON a worse note, I looked up the criteria for a dependent and my adult daughter is considered my dependent now im pretty messed up and need a sponser. One more thing to make me worry, i'll be giving birth earlier than early at this rate! ugh cray5ol.gif

Are this 2 storms taking place in NH or your own state? Am particularly concern about NVC since thats where the works are been done.

Hi Saylin and everyone,

I have a question: I-864 Part 3, Family Members.

My husband is a sponsor. We have been married for 12 years. And we are currently living in Australia with two children( both US citizen). It's a bit funny question, but do we have to list them as family members? I mean, they are of course our family member :) and moving(going back) to the US together, but not "immigrating". As my husband is supporting them as well, I should list them on I-864..? Is it correct?

He has been working here at a local bank. At this moment, he has not got a job in the U.S(Although it's on process.). We have assets in the States we could prove. Do we have to have a joint sponsor? Someone also has questioned this before, but I'm not quite sure..

P.S. Thank you for your great job, Saylin! You are super! :)

The storms are moving in a more southerly direction than originally thought. New Hampshire (NVC) should not be affected much at all. New York City, on the other hand, is going to be a mess.

I'm two hours north of NYC, and am only supposed to get 1-3 inches. Last night, they were saying 6-12 inches. So the storm is not moving as far north as expected. Yay!

No sir. both coversheet have payment confirmation too, and both are sent to different office ( one for CMR and one to AOS CMR). until you don't pay the IV payment they will not review your IV package.

just my two cents, may be you have special case.

thanks

I paid the AOS fee and filled out the DS-261 (choice of agent form) over a week ago.

But the IV fee and application is STILL not available it still shows a folder with a lock on it. Does anyone know why?

I have not sent in the AOS (Affidavit of support) forms yet with the cover sheet, I will do that next week. Is that why the IV fee and application aren't showing? Because I haven't sent in the AOS paperwork? I don't think so

our IV fee was invoice like after 2 1/2 weeks. we haven't send our AOS package yet until now, co sponsor still on vaction here in the philippines. so like what everybodys saying here, those two are not related with each other, other than you both need them to have a case complete.
