Petitioner always has to fill in their own I-864 form. Tax information is required too.

Are they (the petitioner) contributing their income as well or just letting the other sponsor qualify on their own? If the former, then they should income pay stubs and employment letter.

I have a question about police certificates, and perhaps it's too specific and I should call the US embassy here in San Jose?

In Costa Rica you can get a national and international police certificate. The international one is certified and signed and stamped by all these people. Besides that they're the same thing. Should we get the international one? Or should I call US embassy to find out? (the reason I'm not calling now is I'm on hold for NVC )

Ok, so the petitioner would just include their I-864 and tax information. The joint sponsor would include everything.

Thanks for everything, I got my interview data today. Schedule for may 7th, I filled up a form to update the spreadsheet.

Got, I filled out the form. I called last monday and they said they were entering cases receicved on 17-Feb, so it looks like the there is a pattern here.

That was a week before mine was received and one week to the day after that they are entering cases from 24 Feb..

Okay halfway replying to my own question.

NVC said we would have to wait for DS260 to be completed and accepted before we can ask for the police report. Has anyone heard this before? My husband just called the registry here and they said they can give it (the police record) to him without an official request. But, information can be really unreliable in this country. (US embassy told me to call back tomorrow as the immigrant visa people evidently only work from 9am-11am. I want that job)

Any thoughts?

Another spreadsheet nerd, awesome! I say that with highest esteem. I'm obsessed with my filters. I noticed that gap as well; tons of IV submissions right after ours, but very few just slightly before. Maybe that's a good thing and it accurately reflects a global lag in submissions, so NVC will skip ahead to our dates I can dream.

I do the exact same thing! I download it as an excel sheet and track it for timelines close to ours. I have it color-coded, sorted and excluding certain entries; i have been able to predict the next case completes fairly accurately. I actually take notes on members who don't have an entry and track it on my private version. I know I am sick.. LOL

There is unfortunately a little gap from VJ member who sent in the IV package between 13-17th so it will be hard to track over the next couple of days but right after that we have four members who should get a CC in short order.

Do you guys think we will make it in for May interview?

Interview scheduling started today so maybe with a case complete by Friday it would be possible. I don't think it's likely, but there's some fraction of a percent of chance A June interview is a far safer bet.

Sorry to say but with a checklist response that got there today, it will be at least 7-10 days for review and acceptance. Last month sixth of the month was the cutoff for case completes getting an interview for that month's cycle.

Hey Saylin,

Does NVC send a confirmation email for i-864 and IV support documents sent by email for electronic processing?

We received an auto 'Out of Office" notice for i-864 documents sent on Friday. Not sure if this automated reply was due to office closed for weekend.

We sent IV documents this evening (8:30PM) but did not get an auto response.

Do we wait for confirmation email or resend these documents again?

Please advise.
