Is this REALLY that hard to figure out? The poster above has made what is already a very clear instruction abundantly clear.

USCIS Early Filing Calculator

The information in this part ONLY relates to your time as a permanent resident if you file under Section 319(a) and 316(a) of the INA. All other eligibility requirements MUST be met at the time of filing.

You may file Form N-400 ninety (90) calendar days before you complete your permanent residence requirement if your eligibility for naturalization is based upon being a:

Permanent resident for at least 5 years; or

Permanent resident for at least 3 years if you are married to a US citizen.

To determine your 90-day early filing date, begin by identifying your 5-year or 3-year date as a permanent resident. For example, if the date on your Permanent Resident Card says July 4, 2006, you meet the 5 year permanent resident requirement on July 4, 2011. If you have met all other eligibility requirements, you may file your completed Form N-400 90 days before July 4, 2011. The earliest date you may apply for naturalization would be April 5, 2011.

The calculator will help you verify that you file your Form N-400 with USCIS no more than 90 days prior to your permanent resident anniversary date. USCIS will deny your Form N-400 if you file your Form N-400 more than 90 days prior to your anniversary date. CLICK HERE to access the USCIS Early Filing Calculator.

Oh and also are you guys Hand writting in the answers to form N-400 or typing?

If you are using the new form it makes more sense to type the answers in since that generates a unique barcode at the bottom of each page. Then USCIS just scans the barcodes to enter your info into their system instead of having to type everything in manually. Everyone has been getting their NOA's and biometric letters pretty quickly lately so using the new form seems to speed up the initial processing of the form.

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

Naturalization: March 2014 - August 2014

Agreed! I thought as well that notices and appointments to record bio-metric data were going out somewhat quicker than usual for the February and March petitioners, but wasn't sure. Glad someone else noticed!

Without the day the conditional green card was issued an exact date cannot be figured. Using 10/30/2011 to ensure the 90 days is met the earliest you should file is 8/01/2014.

Ok so I've decided to go ahead and fill out the new form but I wrote it in instead of typing.
I do need some advice or recomendations when to send my application I've been ready to mail it out since Feb! but Im going on Vacation April 28- May 4

and worried that if i send it in too early I will get a bio appointment while I'm gone and I would hate to reschedulel so im trying to wait and hold off maybe I'll wait to send it in the week before i leave for vacation?
That way I will be safe and wont get bio appt till after i come back

Ok so I've decided to go ahead and fill out the new form but I wrote it in instead of typing.

I do need some advice or recomendations when to send my application I've been ready to mail it out since Feb! but Im going on Vacation April 28- May 4

and worried that if i send it in too early I will get a bio appointment while I'm gone and I would hate to reschedulel so im trying to wait and hold off maybe I'll wait to send it in the week before i leave for vacation?

That way I will be safe and wont get bio appt till after i come back

I think sending it 4/14 or around that time will be a safe time, from the looks of it people are getting bio appointments that are 1 month from their receipt date..

So is anybody ready to file yet?

When are you guys going to do it?

Mine goes out in the mail tomorrow. :) You?
