Can't get required documents to Fiance?

So we got a RFE last week and it needs the beneficiary's statement of intent. Fair enough. The letter is typed out and im sending it to him to sign because he has no access to a printer. I sent it Global Guranteed Express; guranteed Friday Feb 14th. It also has his photocopy of passport because he needs that to get his police certificate. Well now its held up in customs; having delays and . And its been in customs for 12 hours now and I don't know if they will let it through. Does sending this kind of thing seem suspcious?

They'll let it through. Just random spot check. No need to panic.

Mail in and out of the country goes through customs as standard.

I had the same problem with my husband's Affidavit of Support documents. The first time he sent them (by USPS priority mail) they got held up in customs. Took over four weeks for them to arrive. By that time, we had already given up hope and he had re-sent them by DHL Express. They were held up again, but only for a few days (they were supposed to arrive on a Thursday and actually arrived on the Wednesday after that). It happens.

Many of you need to chill out and do something to take your mind off of immigration. All you're doing is making yourself sick inside, stress is a killer.

Printers go through customs too.

Have him handwrite it if it worries you, or print it out at a print shop, a library, a friends house, his work, his school... Many printers in the UK.

OP: YUp, have him buy a printer. It will be of much use and will be easier in the long run.

I agree buy a low cost printer or go to a local shop for printing. Sure it costs a few bucks, but with what this whole process is going to cost, if that small expense will break you, then there are larger problems to worry about here.

As for the enveleope, did you clearly mark on the customs declaration that it is documents only?
