Photo evidence of meeting for I-129F - can I print several on paper?

Hello...I'm preparing to send the I-129F to bring my fiance here from Malaysia on a K1 visa. I have quite a few photos and receipts proving our most recent meeting in September 2013. I read here at this website that you print the photos on photo paper, label them and put them in a bag. Is it acceptable to print several color photos on white printer paper and place a caption beneath each photo describing what it with the date? Or, should I really print each photo at Walgreens and label on the back as described? I could certainly organize them nicely using Microsoft Publisher if it is allowable to do as I described.

Also, do I staple documents together or paperclip them?

You can print the photos on regular printer paper, it does not need to be photo paper.

Use clips instead of staples so that it's easy for the person handling your papers to disassemble the package.

I would agree with kitthekat however, I went to Walgreens and had 10 pics printed and put them in a picture binder. i didn't add any caption to the pictures or dates.

Do not staple them.

I screen shot loads of pics of me and my fiancée from facebook and sent them. Made sure to leave all the comments and times on them as well.

They was on normal paper from printer as well.

You can print the photos on regular printer paper, it does not need to be photo paper.

Use clips instead of staples so that it's easy for the person handling your papers to disassemble the package.

This. You can add your pictures however you want to: actual photos in a ziplock bag, printed out on paper, etc. Remember that photos are only secondary evidence of meeting, you need to make sure you have plenty of primary evidence such as passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts, etc. Good luck!

Printing on regular paper is fine. We printed 2 photos per paper. and just had the captions handwritten. Good luck!!!

Photos are so cheap at walgreens and places now you might as well just get those rather than wasting ink or paying somewhere to print photos. Also I liked it because I just wrote on the back of them. With walgreens you can upload all your pictures online and order them and they're ready in like an hour. I think I paid a couple bucks for like 25 photos.

I just printed them on plain paper with the date and location. I seem to remember I had printed three pictures with the dates spread over a year. I copied our passports as well (with the Indonisia stamps highlighted). Finally I included a bank statement that is in both our names. The USCIS approved our i129F.

I would not put it past the US government to have a few people who are not aware of digital photography! Hahaha

For my I-129F packet, I copied and paste all my photos to a word doc. and wrote a short caption with the date, place and what we were doing there underneath each photo.

I had put 4 photos per page, for 4 pages (16 photos total for me, just in case) on plain white printer paper from color ink.

On the header, I put my name as the petitioner, his as the beneficiary and other notes like "evidence for meeting in person", etc.

Paperclipped and sent those in with the application and other neccessary evidence. Waited and our petition recently got APPROVED!!

So no worries! Just as long as the photo doesn't look photoshopped and the photos are clear enough to make out your faces.

I copied pictures into Word and printed about 12 pictures on regular paper, 2 per page. I forgot to indicate location and date. And I stapled them.

It doesn't matter but it is a good idea to have a guideline to follow. Everyone is different. I simply printed mine (about 9) on printer paper, and got some sheet protector (the clear sheets for photos or a sheet of paper.) Then I wrote our names, the date and location of each photo on the back. I could fit about four into each so I ended with three sheets total. Placed mine at the back of the package along with the secondary supporting evidence. Something else you can do to help the CO is to reference the photos (like the location and date) in your letter. I have just sent my package out Friday so I don't know how the results affect my thoughts for you.

I printed ours very proud and large on the page (in color). That way they could see our smiles, and the background.

I printed pictures on bond paper, no issues. I used a large black paper clip to hold everything together.
