salam everyone i m new member of VJ i m in AP since jan

27th sep 2013 i received a call from embassy. the person who called me asked about expiry date of my medical report (will expire on dec 11 2013) he asked that if embassy issued me a visa can i plan to move to usa before dec 11 i said yes then he asked me ok wait we will contact u in 15days

now my question is what does this call mean?

r they really issue me a visa or investigate about me ?

please comment suggest and guide me

co said everything is all right n they will issue me visa in 2months

gave me 221 green sheet after that my status updates every months

and on 27th sep wen i received call from embassy status update in that morning

in this month my status updates 2 times 13sep and 27 sep

It sounds like they are ready to issue your visa but with Islamabad it is hard to tell.

You have to enter the US before your medical report expires. Obviously, your expiration date is coming up - and the Embassy wanted to be sure that you were ready to go before the medical expires. If your medical expires, you have to get it redone.

I believe they are trying to make sure your visa is issued so you have a chance to immigrate to the US before the medical expires.

I don't think you should be worried. Of course, none of us knows for sure, but I think this time, they are just trying to make sure you don't have to go through another medical.

I don't think you will need the tears. Let's see what happens in 15 days!

the same thing happened to my husband his medical expires December 12 they asked if he could travel before then...he said yes he can and they issued the visa the next week!!! Best of Luck

They're actually trying to be very curtious, to see if you can immigrate by december. That way you will save yourself some money for redoing the medical exam.

Don't know the answer other than to assume the embassy is trying to internally expedite your visa to issue before medical expires. Goog luck and GOD BLESS,
