They seem to be having a bit of a problem with that system lately. A lot of people have been complaining about that message showing up when they put in their number. I would call in and ask, just to be sure. There's a slim chance that's a sign of an impending approval, but don't get your hopes up just yet.

I just checked my status still said Initial Review. That tell me they have not even looked at my application. I wrote my Senator about the problem of the delays in the system. Also about a amendment that would stop Brazilians from being able to Immigrate in the Home Land Security Bill. In the response letter told me the number of undocumented immigrates 11 million nationwide. How many of them have applied since the Dream Act. There are petitions on this site please sign them http://www.change.org

1.President Obama, USCIS, DHS: Decrease wait time for I-130 Petition for Alien Relative

2.U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services: I-130. Permanent Residents should not have a priority over US citizens.

3.Stop a Amendment in Homeland Security Bill stop Immigration of US citizens Families who are Brazilans

Call the USCIS and talk to the tier 2 officer. They will be able to tell you where the file is.

Sometimes they do send notification but most of the time they don't. You can always look up online case status.

When I check my online case it is under initial review. I will try calling them in the morning and see what they say.

We received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Well thanks for your help!

It is not true from what I see on the igor list. IF they are processing october 2012 how the people from December 2012 and January 2013 get approved? I don't believe that they are processing october 2012.
