kinda unfair waiting for years and those ruthless guys from CERCO mess everything up

is it fair to wait for years and people just married get their papers faster than the new stupid AOS

30 business days ?

Really when they opened priority dates that fast where they not expecting thsis ### load of work why they dont prepare

why there is no flexibility

they have minds of their own they dont even answer senate enquiry any more

Most likely yes. If you're fluent (or your spouse is fluent, or has a friend who is fluent) in both languages they can translate. Double check in your regional forum perhaps to see what exactly is needed. Most of the time if the document is in the official language of the country in which the interview will be taking place, no translation is necessary. There are a few exceptions of course.

My wife took the Islamic Certificate to an Immigration office in Jordan yesterday and they are suppose to translate it and Email them both to me in few hours in which I will E-mail them to the NVC right away. The sad thing that I will have to wait another month for the last document they require from us. I was counting the days and checking my E-mail every hour to hear that all documents were accepted and wait for the interview date. And was hoping the interview will be during my vacation time when I travel to Jordan during the month of October and we will be able to come back together, but I guess we have to wait and Skype more as Jaajay said smile.png .

The IV will be invoiced. :) The NVC also generally sends an email.

Anyone else recently fill in DS 260 did you need to use your Beneficiary ID as I didn't see it and on the state website it just says Invoice ID and Case number you need to fill it out, but operator at NVC said I needed to insert it. Anyone?

No beneficiary id was required of me when I filled it in 3 days ago.

I responded to your private message, too, but you never responded back.

You used to have to use it. I think they've taken it off though.

Wow unbelievable, so today I called NVC in regards to an update after now 20 days on my request for a supervisor review in regards to a birth certificate for which I got a checklist, stating it was not an original. I was told that I need to fill out a DS-260 and that it would take another 20-30 work days to review.

Seriously? I am so furious about this and it makes no sense to me, the IV has already been reviewed and I received a checklist for the birth certificate issue on Aug 12 and requested a supervisor review the same day. Now they want to delay everything another 20-30 days!? And no word on my supervisor review that is now 20 days. The operators also hardly let you come to word and just keep on talking and don't connect to a supervisor, stating that no one is available.

I am so damn frustrated, why do we have to suffer because of the errors of NVC?? I have already contacted my Congress representative's office, but it sounds as if they can't do much either.

Sorry for the mad ravings, but this is just ridiculous and I feel like we are being punished for their mistakes and they can pretty much do whatever they want.

Today we got an email saying the NVC has received the DS-261. Now, the IV Application Processing Fee on the Summary site (https://ceac.state.gov/IV/summary.aspx) says "Not Paid" and has a live link to "Pay." (Previously I think it said "not available" or something to that effect - there was no link to pay). However, when I go to the live link (to the Invoice page: https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx) - it does not show an amount to pay or the ability to click the "select" box.

Has anyone experienced this or know what it might indicate?

Thanks.

It does take some time for it to actually be invoiced. Just keep checking on the payment portal, it should be invoiced soon.

And just to make sure, you're using IE, right? The payment portal can be quite iffy when used on any other browser.
