Fiance Visa, fb paper overload/ printer explosion!!?!?!?!?

Hi! Just working on filing the K1 with my fiancé. We know we have to provide proof of our relationship the more the better. But we have been communicating on fb and Skype for 2yrs everyday for hours at a time. So needless to say the 20,000 messages on fb are only 1/4 of what wasn't causing my fb to freeze up that I had to remove . We though about sending maybe 30 from the begging and 30 from the middle and 30 of the more recent (papers not messages) but we don't want it to look like there are gaps inbetween our communication. Should we just send some papers of our most recent conversations? I don't really want to send it all my printer is limited and so is my pocket at the moment!! I don't want to cause a mass ink shortage and death of my beloved printer. Help!.......

what i did was take a few lines out of each conversation and do this by a monthly format.

example:

March 2013

that's why i did because i have longs since 2011!!! best of luck you can do monthly or weekly,,whatever suits u best

I just sent a few brief conversations spread out over a years times. Just remember, the proof of 'seeing' each other within the 2 year period is what is most important and the supporting docs concerning that. No need to print hundreds of pages of chats, etc. At least, that's my 2 cents and I had no problems what so ever. Find specific information for Algeria and trust your fellow VJ'ers! I think what my fiancé did was only give three papers of fb chat, two papers of emails, and two papers of phone bills.

We only sent in proof of meeting. No fb or skype chats. We will print those off for the interview (just incase), but didn't bother 'front loading' the application. Some countries they say this is better for, but being from Canada we didn't feel it was necessary. I'm not sure what is recommended for Algeria.. but I definitely wouldn't overload on it.

dig into your printer driver settings and see if you can print 2 pages (or more) per physical sheet of paper.

Is this for the I-129F Petition? If so you only need to prove that you have met. I have been doing the same thing, gathering up the two + years of facebook chats and tags that we have but when it boils down to it all you need to do is prove that you have met, so I pulled fb chat that stated we had plans to meet and a conversation that said " it was fun hanging out with you" or something like that. I also printed out several "tags" we had of each other in the same location and matched them up with hotel receipts. I am also including plan tickets from when we flew together and some affidavits from family and bosses saying they saw us meet.

Again don't confuse "proof of meeting" which is mandatory for the I-129F Petition with "proof of continued relationship" with is required for the interview by the consulate... sometimes....

Some countries like to front load and it's good to do so. Not every petition is the same.

Pick chats, a few per month to show you keep in regular contact.

I picked 1 page from day one to present in an even flow showing consistency without large gaps with skype, yahoo, phone logs and less from FB and viber. Picking 1-3 per week or month depending how much you have to pull from, interchanging the variety of chats /phone etc.

I advice against large gaps with more than a month missing.

How many to submit is embassy specific.

Though not much is needed for USCIS, the point of front loading for high fraud countries is that the CO will have already seen everything that was forwarded by USCIS, some CO's will refuse to accept or look at any further evidence if they tend to want to deny.

Sometimes their minds are already made up before the interview and that's it so front loading gives you that one shot of showing relationship proof.

Read the reviews of your consulate from other members to see what works and what doesn't.

Don't bother, they wont accept it for more than the paper it is printed on. FB/Skype chats can be "typed". What they want is proof of being together. Focus your efforts on that. Believe me, that is more challenging than most believe.

What you mentioned, of course, must be submitted, that goes without saying .... though it proofs only that you were in the same country and not neccessarily "together."

To say "don't bother" to regular and consistent communication evidence is bad advice.
